After collecting all the Valentine rewards. Thank you : ) No balloon or heart popping : ( I didn't pay attention to the event. I went back to my own goal of upgrading all my quaint town buildings. Success!! Goal accomplished! Today I reached my own goal I worked hard to achieve. All town buildings upgraded! Sapphire is a proud farmer  Congratulations Sapphire.👍 |

I'm finding myself being drawn in to continuing the event after collecting the final prize. (It's probably the part of me that likes completeness; it's certainly not for the puzzle pieces, as I have all sanctuary animals already).... So far I haven't deleted a single task, and have fulfilled my task quota every day so, in theory, I should collect maximum points. It could be interesting to see if someone else gets more points than me. Just my thought processes at the moment... So, I've now reached the end of the event, and have completed every single task that was available to me. I ended in 12th place! That indicates to me that the Leader Board is based simply on the luck of the draw; those players who are blessed with higher point tasks are going to end up in front of those with lower point tasks (if they choose to do all tasks). There is no way of buying extra tasks, so luck counts. Incidentally, on the last batch of tasks I had two very lengthy ones: three blackberry jam and three lollipops. I also had three separate long tasks for the pie oven. Although I had boosters that helped with some of these, and also watched some adverts to reduce production time, I used a few diamonds to finish. That was worth it for the sake of the experiment, but under normal circumstances I wouldn't have used diamonds in that way. Twelfth place gave me two puzzle pieces, but it didn't really because I already have all sanctuary animals! I hope this is helpful. EDIT: the stats - I ended with 28020 points; first place had 30800. |

Similar experience here to Cowslips but to demonstrate the randomness of this event, I ended up in 7th place (3rd on my baby farm), yet I deleted a handful of tasks and couldn’t complete all my tasks on the last day (three jam tasks at the same time). I too watched ads to speed up some tasks and used a couple of diamonds to complete tasks when it was late at night and I needed to sleep.
Same as Cowslips, puzzle pieces that I don’t need plus a chick voucher on my baby farm. Pitiful prizes disproportionate for so much angst and effort.

My mini farm (level 64) ended up in 2nd place with a score of 23,700 points, first place had 24,530.
My main farm got fifth place with 29,210 points, first place had 31,570 points. I trashed several tasks on both farms.

I didn't take a task past reaching the end of the line, had plenty of you've dropped x amount messages then finally had the "dropped out of top 50" message yesterday

I finished in 12th place with 27,090 points. The two puzzle pieces allowed me to finish the Arctic Fox that will be forever asleep since those meat buckets take too much fish.
The top finisher in my group had 30,950 points. 73 players had 14,500 points or less, so only 27 players played past the deco goal.
I only deleted 3 tasks (2 jam and 1 gold bar task) for 280 total points, and I didn't purchase any extra tasks. Never received a high point sanctuary wake up task :-(
No way I would ever catch the leader with my lousy random tasks.

The Group Leader won with 29,700 points while I placed seventh with 26,600. I did all tasks except one 80 point task which expired.
Now I've realized it wouldn't have changed the outcome for me because there's a huge gap between me and the Group Leader. I'd like to know if the winner had bought extra tasks and done tasks with high points. Let's see how Team Hay Day will tweek these Task Events.

I ended up in second place somehow?
I got one extra task near the end, just to see if spending the diamonds might load an easy high point task. (No chance to catch up to leader, who was 3 or 4 thousand points ahead.). No such luck. Jams for 80 or something like that, so I ended up trashing it. What a waste that was, so I won’t be doing that again. And no sanctuary tasks for me, either. Sigh.
But I agree, how to have leaderboards on these things with random tasks still seems kind of odd.
