Got the Yule goat, Hot choc booth, and all the permits I do love the "Shaun the sheep" style of humanised animals in animation for film and TV but not so much for my farm deco so I've skirted the caroling animals and snow fight pig despite their obvious cuteness And I have about 750 hollies so far towards the last 2 booths All in all it seems to be going well There are some decos on Gregs farm I wish had been made available earlier like the gift fence and snow paths to name a couple It’s funny. I agree with you and 🌼GymGirl🌺 but I’ve realised that I’m never getting human animation in HD deco, and I like having movement in my settings so I’ve compromised. Would it be that the SC elves are listening and would consider making a Christmas deco of the townspeople carolling. Two sets: a trio and a quartet. 🙏 |

Final reward on (candycane) task Line gained at 15 000 points (candycanes)
15 000 ÷ 12
= at least 1250 points a day needed to complete
And given that the point average of completing all daily tasks has been around 3000 I'd say that finishing, even with deletions, skipped days, is a fairly safe bet which seems very festive of Supercell 😁

 For the sake of Boxing Day, I discover today that my Gift Wrapping machine that was going for second Mastery star has been tweaked. When it stopped working: progress is 69/72 hours. Now when I just checked (26/12): 189/200 hours. Logic  |

So, Christmas and Boxing Day have come and gone, and…have we seen the “gift” deco yet? (Toys, gift fence, light posts?). I can see snow still to come for January, but I’d have expected the gift theme to have dropped by now. ?

Thought they might have been diamond packs over Christmas! But they weren’t!! In a few days there should be new year decos! There’s also another Christmas booth on wheels, and a picnic table/chairs with hot chocolate/candy canes on it- or did I miss these at some point? I am still disappointed not to have the snow paths by now, they would have looked lovely with the Christmas deco I’ll be putting back in storage in a few days. |

Just logged into game and Alfred has delivered a package of coins in exchange for unused hollies. I also checked near the docks and the Gift Wrapping Machine is gone. I hope it's the same for everyone.

BauldersGate I had 16 hollies left and got 600 coins - 37.5:1. But for the life of me I can’t now remember how many hollies I paid for the LEMs, BEMs and SEMs. Smarty-pants over here didn’t take photos. (I hope you register my not-at-all subtle attempt to get you to do the maths. Thanks.😁)

Received my 460 coin matey for my left over 77 holly. Just couldn’t put myself up to buy town upgrade stuff within the price 😂 have noticed a few friends with it still available but my assumption is when they log on it will be gone. Was a little disappointed was hoping Greg’s farm was going to be more new year less Xmas but oh well. Hope all achieved what they wanted from the event.

(Not that I needed a few hundred more coins, but still.) Those gifts took a lot more effort than that, lol.

It was said prior from the Content Creators like R3DKNIGHT that left hollies would be changed in coins. It was clear that the "exchange rate" would be lousy, not approximately adequate. I paid sub par attention 😅 but I can say I got coins delivered across 3 farms:
A)10,000 & something
B)485
C)250
My vague recollection of the hollies I had across those 3 farms was:
A)Over 2000
B)Under 100
C)50 ish
So based on mine I'd say about 5 gold to 1 holly? I'm sure someone will give a better more concrete number somewhere at some point 😅
EDIT:
Best offer in last pages was 225 for 5x mallet/deed/etc
That 225 holly would be converted into 1,125 coins
Those same 5x items would sell for 2,016 coins
So not a great deal of difference unless you're really cash strapped and don't mind waiting for Alfred to sllloooowwwllly walk back and forth 😆

I also had 60 gifts or so left over. They just disappeared. Wonder if I got coins for those as well?

We may be onto something. I had 19 hollies and 2 gifts (the red ones I believe) left, and I ended up with 245 coins. That would match 5 coins per holly and 75 coins per red gift.

So I went from full 3-star mastery back to 77/200 hours toward the 3rd star. Another not so cool bug. |
