I'm using my 2 baby farms soley for their boat crates Haven't even clicked on Alfred's package to open the gift wrap machine on either of those baby farms Filling their crates via help requests and completing my own boats is keeping my machine with its 2 slots plenty busy 😅 Are you filling the whole boat on your babyfarm? Or only the gift crates and then wait until the boat leaves alone (after round about 15 hours) I filled the 1st 2 (1 boat each) simply because they where convenient But with how long production took on my big farm both those small farm boats where still only sent with a couple hours left to natural departure So I believe it will make little difference between a complete fill and leaving them for the remainder of the event to sail off on their own with just the gift slots filled |

Most of the time my farm is preparing the next boat. I have only the two slots. And I need the four hours between two boats to prepare the gifts for the next boat. Looking good BauldersGate looks like a nice place to relax. Cruising nicely on my 2 slots but boats haven’t been kind just had boat wanting 76 bread next boat bread again 😂 My boats have been shockers too, normally ones I would not do. |

Can confirm it. One boat with 4 crates each 9 brown sugar. Not gonna happen. Another boat from my baby wanted 19 x bread for 3 crates. Not gonna happen, too. Sent it packing. I am concentrating on the crates from my babyfarms. I prepare them, fill them and wait until the boat leaves. It's ok that way. Not stressful, I can live with that. My baby farm had a boat that wanted cream (hahahaha) I filled the presents (marked a few for others) and let it sit.
I used the time to prepare a few of each of the presents.
The next boat there was manageable.
The main farm has been fairly normal.

My thoughts were some points are better than nothing. If you fill only some crates you can also get some scrolls or a nice deco. The snowfight is so lovely and really cheap. Lunadocker The pleasure is mine. Happy I haven't missed your boat. Has anyone of you realized that the dates on the board are different? Boats only until 21th december. And the event and the prizes in the catalogue are even longer. I saw a post on R3DKNIGHTS Facebook-page. He wrote: Hay Day Catalogue Date Information. The dates run longer to allow players time to buy items they want after the event ends.Perhaps someone can take a screenshot and post it here? I haven't uploaded a picture until now and only here for a quick stop. It seems like we have only the two weeks for the boats. And the other time only the catalogue is open. But without the chance to earn more hollies. Really disappointing!

How are everyone’s boats going for the event. Yesterday all but one of my boats required the train gift. Today it seems to be following the same pattern but with the round gift. My last boat requires 8 and even had one boat that wanted 2 premium items. With the time gap small this year the challenge is harder. At this stage I’m making before and after my boat arrives so can’t see me able to buy after event finishes. This of course is just the way I’m playing in the slower mode with the 2 slots can’t see me at this stage being able to get all I want but I totally okay with that.

I'm filling only the gift crates on my main farm (I don't usually do boats anymore) and main is filling gift crates on my other 3 farms (those produce all the ingredients to make the gifts). All farms are primarily getting the red box gifts. Only had one yellow, round and train so far. The pace is working nicely for me, so I'm enjoying it. |

Between big farm and 2 babies
I've had 1 choo choo train boat
Several Yellow gift boats
Several Round gift boats
Couple Red gift boats
Big farm completing own boats and filling gift crates for babies is working well
(If the rest of a baby boat happens to be convenient or easy it will get completed but most just sail away with only gifts)
I've bought a yule goat, the hot choc stand, the group of 3 expansion permits and I'm close to getting next single expansion permit
My aim being permits and interesting decos 😅
Edit:
I'm happy with production rates for all the required gift ingredients, on top of all normal farm functions save for one
Chili pizza is a step too far, given requirements of dairy, especially with one gift that asks for 3 milk straight out
So I've been using low level (3 hour) Tom boosters to fetch pizza (and plain yogurt as always)

I try to maintain about 3 to 4 of each gift. More round gift if I can. It should be enough to fill half of my
boat needs. The rest can be flagged and filled by friends.
This way boat won't stay long, friends can earn holly too.

First star today, but I won't use it much longer. About one hour I am done with boats. I gathered enough hollies to buy every deco I want. This time I am only going for deco, no interest for other items.
It's a relief being through with this, I won't miss any boats.
For explanation: I am interested in the several booth and the coral singers and the pig throwing snow-balls. I intend to make a special winter arrangement in my town. I am driving "two-tier" meaning that a part will remain halloweenish and another winter themed. I am looking forward to it. 🙂😉😍🎄🌛🌺

Relief! I just sent off my last boat. Now, I have enough hollies to get the last few things that I want. I might participate in the next phase of the event if there is a way to earn hollies without filling boats.

Down to my last boat I think my machine loves cookies last few days, only got round gift and a few of the yellow gift boats. I’ll spend my last 200 holly on the snow fighting pig. I hope everyone was able to get all they wanted so far.

You’ve been doin a lot, then. I got hot chocolate and snowball pigs and carolers. One initial three-pack of permits for 600. The individual permits for 250 or 300 I’ve had to pass by. With only 2 slots on the machine, I’ve had to wait to finish presents and other items for each boat. It’s like molasses, lol. |

Although I thought I was finally done with the dreadful boats I decided otherwise and fill them as long as possible. I don't force it, though. I wait, what the boats demand ( main and baby) ...fill them (only gifts) and let them leave as soon as the time is up. I am not in the mood to fullfill every (mostly greedy) wish. 😉 My focus is on the last 2 booth, but it can't hurt to get some permits, too. It's not that much because I gave the first permits a pass but better little than nothing. |

I do love the "Shaun the sheep" style of humanised animals in animation for film and TV but not so much for my farm deco so I've skirted the caroling animals and snow fight pig despite their obvious cuteness
And I have about 750 hollies so far towards the last 2 booths
All in all it seems to be going well
There are some decos on Gregs farm I wish had been made available earlier like the gift fence and snow paths to name a couple

So happy everyone was able to get all or some of what they wanted. I have only a few holly left no pumpkins 😂 my patch has run dry. Iv let a few boats go now. Looking at trying to get boosters for the next catalogue will cross finger got my 3 gbabies under 5 here and my 5 year old takes my iPad hostage. Sending Xmas cheer ❤️
