Balloon Maker Machine - Boat Event

I just went to the catalog and bought all of the “new arrivals” I’d saved up for. I have 164 🎵 left over. Perfect! Done! It was very nice to just be able to click on them without waiting for Alfred to deliver. Big improvement. I’ll bet Alfred is pleased, too.

Nice to know, guess I won’t send any boats out for 2 days.  I can focus on town. Oh my, what will I do?

I also finished the event, however I can still make balloons and fill balloon crates on other farms that are flagged for help.

Yes, bad luck. But I had only a bit hope. I saw the probabilities before I opened the boxes. And this was not good.
So I didn't expect that I would get it.

Only a bit disappointed that SC choose this way for its Birthday collection.
Of course they are a company and need to make money. But the way they do it at the moment is too much imo.

For the second record, when I went back after end of event, machine and all balloons disappeared. Had I known, I would not queue them.

After 3 similar event, it is still quite hectic to properly inform players about what will happen at the end. I’m not happy with the lack of communication this time, especially when it is different than the previous ones.

For your record: 

I sent away my current boat some time before the event ended. 
The next boat was announced with balloons and with a puzzle. 

So I thought I try it and make some balloons to be able to get the boat done (perhaps with help). 
I opened my game some time before the event ends again and tried to fill another balloon in the machine (I think it was 15-10 minutes before the event ends). 
But it already didn't let me do that. It showed a sentence like "the event is nearly over". 

But right after the event ended, the balloon maker was away. Also my balloon I made. I was not able to collect the last baloon. 

And funny thing: For my boat they also changed the products to normal ones without the balloons. 

And another fact I realized: 
On this farm I got nothing so far. 
On my baby farm I already got a package (in front of my house) which gave me some coins because the event is over. 
It seems like they already converted the left over balloons. My music notes are still there. 
Its only a guess because I can't say if and how much balloons I had on this farm. 
But strange because my main farm didn't get something for the balloons I made right before the event ended. Perhaps because they were in front of the machine and not in my barn. 

I agree with you. A better communication would be great. Especially as they made some changes. 
IMO I think the hard cut is better. So you don't see boats with balloons weeks after the event ended. But they should have told us this. 
Or give some information to the content creators so that they could inform us. But Hayday keeps really much things a secret this times and the content creators are no more informed about many things. Its sad. 

I’m just wondering how (or why) make SO MANY extra balloons?

I confess I did play a lot more than I normally do (wanted to make sure I got those permits) and had my balloon machine producing lots of balloons, supported by my baby farm making fish burgers, grey sweaters, the coffee drinks, growing apples and cherries .. exhausting and glad it’s over lol!!!

I also follow one of the top Hay Day players, BDR .. he spends hours sending boats off one after another with requests to fill his balloon crates, which is mostly how my musical notes grew in volume.
