donkeyfanI read your answer here and was just about to ask if you get the free boxes for the milestones. Because I wanted to suggest to do perhaps even one boat to be able to get the free boxes. But then I saw you got it! 👍 And yes, I understand. Was only a suggestion, not more  Because the drummer for example is very cheap. 2 boats with 4 crates (if you get the 25 point balloons) would be enough. So not very much to do for it. For me it is also to much events in a row. I really like some of the events. But it was better like it was the last year with only a special event for a special time of the year. Now we have 3 events for birthday! (Already had truck, now boats and task event will come). Thats too much. I play it, but stressless! I pick and choose only some things.

To be able to get a change to become a Hayday diamond millionaire you have to participate with the event and be above level 17. If you’re not participating but your level is above 17 you will get the free rewards. |

Count me in the “too much going on” crowd. I can’t imagine filling boats for 17 more days! I can understand that lower level farmers may need more time to accumulate the 🎵 needed for all the prizes they want, but this is ridiculous. In the past, I’ve gotten a couple of extra slots in the special machine. Not this time. Fortunately, I am not interested in a single one of the decos, just the permits and maybe the chick vouchers. If I wind up with extra 🎵, I’ll get basic tools and expansion materials.
The bingo derby is always stressful. I just filled every last crop plot with tomatoes to be ready to take a tomato bingo task and my 4th boat for the boat task I was doing asked for corn. 900 of ‘em. I had 58 in the silo, and activated a 2-crate booster. It still took quite a while browsing the newspaper to get the needed corn. (Seems like the most quickly sold items currently are basic crops.)
I am really looking forward to a week sometime in the future with no special derby, no event (except maybe LEMs for town/trucks), and no valley. Maybe those will come into alignment someday.

I am also included in the "too much going on" crowd 😅 BUT I think this is actually a good thing. Because there were always players who wanted to do more in the game, but they didn't have the opportunity to do so. Now I think the game actually offers something to do for everyone and every person has the chance to choose the events they want to do and the ones they want to stay out of according to one's own playing style. Personally I don't like boat events (except for the ones that offer puzzle pieces) so I don't bother with them, but I do love the tasks events even if they also have their own negative aspects. I mostly quited doing derby in the past year, but I still enjoy playing the valley every now and then. My main focus at the moment is to master my production buildings and just peacefully enjoying my favorite farming game without the pressure to do everything at once 😊 |

I’m enjoying the current events though I do find myself spending more time on Hay Day than I would normally. I’m running balloons on two farms, one is my baby farm that doesn’t normally do boats so that’s quite a lot more to keep up with but I’m loving the prizes in the catalogue and the sense of achievement as it takes several balloons and boats to get each prize.
The only thing that’s annoying me right now is the Bingo derby. It’s a case of delete delete delete and repeat, every 30 minutes. I’ve deleted 752 tasks so far and still need three tasks that haven’t shown up, not even low point versions. My fields are three quarters planted with mint in readiness for the Bingo cornerstone task so that’s preventing me from harvesting other crops. Thankfully, we rarely ever get Bingo derbies so this isn’t a common occurrence.

Even the idle Lvl56 farms are active now for Frog his scheme to fill number and type needed. With flagging the crates on all my baby farms and filling them with main I will be able to collect all decos as soon as they are available. I don’t care for the bingo lines anymore. Already got that achievement long time ago. And there is no end to puzzle pieces and scrolls for years to come, so don’t bother about them anymore. They come when they come, but there is always another day for collecting those two items. |

Finally I decided to produce enough items for the car to benefit my babyfarms as well. 300 musical notes are needed. Since I have on my babyfarms a little initial inventory through the free box from the milestone it should be done in no time. After that I stop. 😉

But the deco with the 2 chicks on top of eachother we can only get via surprisebox for 59 diamonds or in shop (at what price…).
