Game connects to internet quickly, then crashes during loading screen. Tried about seven times (even after clearing cache, rebooting, etc.). Game crashed immediately after loading twice. Samsung Galaxy Tab A Android 11.

Hi Tahoe ๐พDoes your problem exist furthermore? I can't confirm this because I have no crashes at all since a long time ago. I think one reason may be that I use a very good device (Samsung tablet S7+) and in addition my internet connection is fast and stable. I have Android 11, too. So I hope that your problem is gone. Sometimes you have an issue for a short period, and then, oddly enough, it's gone. Perhaps this is gonna happen to you, too. I wish it to you.

Tahoe, I haven't experience crashes while playing HD today, but I did experience similar issues as you did when playing Clash of Clans.
Since I already saved all Supercell games with Supercell ID, I deleted CoC, downloaded it, and restarted device which fixed the crashes.
Samsung Galaxy Tab A, Android 9

I haven't tried logging in yet today, but I was able to get back in the game last night (after I gave up and went out for pizza and wings!) Update (later this evening)- I was able to access the app on and off for the last few hours, but app just crashed again (this time from the farm). There's another ongoing issue with crashes (that I mentioned in another thread a while back) that involve the app crashing and/or returning to the farm automatically while I'm in the fishing area (most times), valley or town. Not sure what's going on there either. Tahoe, I haven't experience crashes while playing HD today, but I did experience similar issues as you did when playing Clash of Clans. I have the opposite going on. Clash and Boom Beach are having no issues (or other apps) just HD. All of my games are also connected to SCID and I may have to uninstall and reinstall HD if the problem continues. Thanks guys!

Fascinating. I wonder if the crashes during loading is a new glitch or an existing one which I thought was fixed last year.
IIRC, we discussed HD crashes in the now defunct Supercell forums in 2021. The Android devices which experienced crash issues shared one thing in common: they were running Android 11. Then and now, I was surprised I didn't crash while playing HD since my device is running an older version of Android OS. I expected it to crash when I play Clash of Clans which has been happening more frequently since the last update.

lynnk2021 Ack, now, when you mentioned it I remember this special issue with the crashes. Back then it was said the crashing affected only devices with Android 11 and no solution was given. I was not affected because my Android version was 9 or 10, I don't know it precisely. And later, when I installed the update for 11, nothing happened, so I forgot this. But I think lynnk2021 is right, it's most likely an old bug which isn't fixed yet. Maybe our Community Manager Ice [Supercell] and Chris [Supercell] have further information to this.
