IIRC, there is usually some sort of “spring” update. It may coincide with Easter, although that has not always happened either. Guess we will have to wait until sneak peeks or an official announcement.

What I would like is all the problems in game to be fixed. For example I can't see the events I come here to check the events. When going into and out of town or fishing area takes a long time. That's on my I pad on kindle tons of crashing issues and can't always chat. I would rather they fix than add more machines new products or new game content. That's what I'm hoping for.

I don't have crashing issues but this may be due to a stable Internet connection and a good device. But please, SC... refrain from introducing new machines and/or new sanctuary animals. I don't need that. And I need no more crops. Actually, it's enough in my opinion.

Given what supercell said about the 10 year hayday birthday celebrations this is going to be a big year for them.
21st June is apparently the original launch date of the game so likely biggest events around that time!

I hope they bring back real customer service that actually reads our concern instead of a robot scanning for some key words, and responds to our concerns with real info instead of a canned response to the key words the robos are programed with.

I agree. I'm also not amused about the lack of subjects given by support. It's clear they can't address every problem but I wish there were more possibilities. However, if you tap the button for "something else" you only find issues about losing your farm, the abuse and the possibility to report it. That's not very helpful. BTW, the support outside the game isn't better either. I told them my problem and explained WHY I'm using this way and not the support in the game, but you can forget the answer. They didn't read my description at all, so it was a waste of time. I hope I've never to contact them again. Awful! That's not user-friendly, it's an imposition.

It's a simple solution for me. Since Supercell doesn't believe the role of Player Support plays in retaining players, I must play as though I won't get any technical support if I need it.
If I can't find a solution to a glitch from forums like this one or other channels, then my journey with Hay Day has come to an end as I'll uninstall HD to make room for new games. Life is too short to jump through hoops to find a solution for a disposable, ephemeral mobile game, IMO.

Just in the moment I got a mail from Hayday support. They asked me to rate them. I did. Max 5 stars were possible, I only gave them 1 stating that this was still too much. I told them that my matter wasn't resolved either and support outside the game wasn't helpful, too. Insofar an issue in need for improvement. As long as the support is that bad as momentarily I hope never to bother the HayDay support again. I told them that, too.

lynnk2021 You're right. Consequential you have to quit the game. But I must admit I can't do this. Shame on me. I play HayDay too long to say goodbye for ever. The game has an relaxing effect on me, mostly. I appreciate this. But this doesn't mean I have to endure every shortcoming. Luckily I'm in a position to use the support rarely. But if I have an issue I expect help and no platitudes. I think time will show whether SC will improve that matter. Hopefully!

For me it's a minor,but frustrating problem. But to be told by support that it doesn't and can't happen just insults my intelligence. They apparently weren't happy with that response because they close my conversation and blocked me. I thought ok I am now dealing with 2 year olds(lol). I am a hood leader very hard to leave my hood friends, if not for that not sure I would not be looking for a different game to occupy my time. They can't keep doing this because people will leave their farms behind and move on. All for something they could have handled just a little differently. Just wording the same sentence differently would have gotten a different reaction, I would not felt like they didn't believe or care about their customer.. ok my rant is over.

So many players are frustrated with the lack of support and help and sadly SC remains ignorant of that. Maybe by choice or perhaps on a minuscule chance they are not cognizant of players concerns.... but truly I feel they think they are so loved, so popular, so in demand, that they don't have to deal with unhappy players. It's beyond my skills to contact a real person there. I spent hours yesterday researching and trying to connect with an SC human. They hide contact info very well.

I kind of understand the hope for change to support.
I remember back on the forums when it seemed every second thread (in the Clash subforum at least, and perhaps a percentage of HD ones?) was a complaint about how someone lost their village when they gave their account info to a “friend/brother/cousin/etc” and support wouldn’t help them, so they asked again. And again, and again, and emailed and started threads on the forum and when those were closed, started another, and messaged mods and….
Then the same people complained when support blocked them or they were banned from the forums.
(I’m not saying at all that anyone here is doing that.)
I just feel like SC’s support people were overwhelmed trying to respond to everything personally, so this is when the automated system came into play more. I’m not happy about it, either, I just kind of understand it. The system could stand to be improved with a lot more options and at the same time leave room for an “I’m not sure” or other open-ended questions when a player’s issue doesn’t seem to fall in the predetermined categories.
Though I also kind of wonder how a “wonder when the next update will be” thread turned into a support complaint thread. 👀

And it does explain things. I think the reason that this has become a focal point in the thread is because so many have been negatively affected by it. For me it is the most important change they could make. But, on a positive note, I would like to be able to sell some pets back or just give them back. And I would love to have a few different flowering trees, more fishing spots, more town shops, and a new machine. I think maybe a jello machine would be fun, you could make jello, jello salad, jello pie, cake, etc.

greenleaf I agree. I also think the actually bad support is the main reason that this thread is now focussed on this issue. Besides, I understand that SC implemented a robot system with automized answers, but it's far from being sufficient. To make matters worse it's not since yesterday but a long time ago since then the support has become so much worse. SC should meanwhile be aware of that. I think they are, but they ignore it. I have no clue, why. It's only speculating, we don't know anything. I hope they will recognize it in time, and do something about it. For the time being I'm avoiding support. I'm not sure whether this is the appropiate reaction but I have no nerves to waste my time with such a nuisance.
