Looking forward to Monday event, barn is going to be pretty drained after the EM truck event today though.

Have to agree about the draw of the town. Only been playing hayday for a little over 2 months have gotten to Rep 17 now and completed the townie achievement in 47 days. Doubt I would be still as engaged in the game if there was no town to work on. I rarely send anyone away, usually the ones who want double digit amounts of dairy ect. When I was originally looking for a hood I came across a good number of players in the 60's and 70's who never even had all the service buildings and the ones they did have could hold 2-4 people. I find the town such a great resource for em's / tools, hard to understand how people can ignore it to such an extent.

I made the mistake to begin town development at level 60 or so. Pretty late. But I recognized soon the value of it. So I forced it. But it's a hard time to finish it finally. You must have good stamina. But it's worth the effort. I also don't understand why so many players neglect this "pearl". It's awesome when finished. No other place in HayDay has better rewards and is so well balanced. In every respect. I love the town. โค

As soon as I realised townies give you an extra gift when fully served the town became my main focus ๐
I only do boats or trucks for events or requirements
My town is lv 40 now (lv 134 farm) with all buildings and trains maxed out expansion wise
But playing alone my personal train with its max speed and max capacity is somewhat wasted on Gregs meager daily townie offerings though ๐

BauldersGate Yes, right. Even if your town is fully developed it's a little bit frustrating as a solo player. Regarding to this I'm very glad to have a babyfarm for support. It facilitates the progress.

Kudos Warios for gaining the insight about the Town as a great resource for EMs and tools after only a month of playing game. IIRC, it took me a few years to realize the Town's value after understanding what "fully served" meant when receiving gifts from the Townies. I didn't need to serve Townies who wanted to visit two or more buildings. It was easier to send them all away and focus on using my Personal Train to pick up Townies who wanted to visit one building. After maxing out my Main Farm, I sold my excess EMs so my Baby Farm may use them to develop its Town to provide more visitors to my neighborhood to pick up. BTW, in 2017 a forumite posted an analysis to support the Town as a balanced approach to earn coins and XPs.
