ok, multiple farms, multiple devices. earlier this year I set things up to access a couple of farms per device using supercell id. but now want to change things around a bit.
I tried adding one of my farms to another device. Did everything I did before, but got told i was using an incorrect verification code. I double-checked, and triple-checked what I was putting in, and no joy. Tried adding a different farm on the same device. Same problem.
I contacted in-game support. And did everything they told me. Still no joy, and they basically said we can't help you.
I've tried it on two separate wifi networks. No joy.
I tried on a different device. nope.
Does anyone know of a list of known bugs?
Has anyone else had this problem? and if you did, how was it resolved? or was it?

I heard somewhere that by logging out of all Supercell ID accounts on the device you are using, the code could be accepted. In other words, you could try on a device that has no Supercell ID account remembered. You can use search engine to read/watch video about incorrect verification code with supercell ID. Whether this method works for you or not, I would be interested in the result for future reference

now your first suggestion gives me a panic attack! All of my devices has at least ONE supercell ID on it, and most have 2. One has 4..
But I shall look into the videos. Thank you.

Oh! I think I know what this is. I went through the same issue where it didnāt work and didnāt work and support kept telling me to do the same thing that didnāt work and then they finally just cut me off without solving the problem. Then a month or so later I somehow stumbled onto the way you need to do it.
This doesnāt work: - hit the circle thing that you use to switch id's - scroll down to the bottom and choose Log In to Supercell ID - put your email address in the prompt - go to your email and get the code it just sent you - type it into the game - then it just gives you an error saying 'oops incorrect code'
You can repeat that a hundred times and it will just keep sending you the same incorrect codeā¦ then you email support and they are no help whatsoever.
So I found out somehow by accident that instead of doing the above, you have to do this process: This does work: - hit the 'connected' button beside the circle thing - click the settings gear button - hit log out - hit confirm - then scroll down and hit Log in to supercell ID and the enter your email and then the code
I have no clue why it worked the second way but not the first, but I replicated the same behaviour on different devices so there seems to be some issue where if you donāt log out of all accounts before logging into the new one, it doesnāt send you the correct code.
Try that and let us know if the second way works for you. (Btw, logging out of the first acct doesnāt mean you need a new code for the one you logged out of - it will still be there for you to log into on the same device as long as you checked āremember me on this deviceā when you initially did it,

I really needed this reassurance that I wasn't going to be making things worse!
So I tried the 'This does work' set of instructions. First I tried it on another device. I switched from the 'main' farm on that device, to an alternate one that if it got messed up, it wouldn't be too bad. I only logged out of the farm playing at the time. and tried adding another farm's supercell id, and it worked.
So went back to the device where all this trouble started, logged out of the farm that was active. And successfully added the farm I'd been trying to add for days. And can easily switch between them all.
BTW, I only had to log out of the supercell id that was active, not all of them. Thanks again!

I'd like to thank everyone for their input on this topic. When I buy a new device in a few years, I hope I won't lose the old device because I must use it to logout from Supercell ID before logging into new device to transfer the Supercell games.
