...The autumn-update (or do you say fall-update?) will be delayed due to previous problems. We have to be patient. But meanwhile we got used to this, didn't we? ;)
As a longtime player since 2014, I know Team Hay Day will release an update sometime around Halloween which is October 31st. But if it doesn't happen, I'm OK with it because this means they've found significant bugs and must debug game before releasing it.
I don't consider it a delay because Team Hay Day during its history never announce publicly that regular updates are guaranteed even though their goal is to publish several updates per year. IMO, regular updates are essential to ensure the game doesn't become stagnant to many players. IIRC, the last time it happened, Game Designer Camilla made a video explaining to players that no new content would be available because they were focusing on a new feature call The Valley.

Can you really make pumpkin jam? I can’t imagine it. Purée, soup, baked goods, etc., yes. But I can’t wrap my head around it as a jam. 😳 You can make jam out of lots of unlikely things (whether or not people will eat it is another question, of course!) I sampled rhubarb and rose petal jam some years ago. This year we've made marrow and ginger jam, and it's lovely with cheese, or even eaten with curry in place of mango chutney. The marrows happen by accident if you don't check the courgettes' growth regularly! It's good to have several ways of using them up.

Marrow and ginger? These other things sound like spreads or something. (P.S. What’s a marrow and a courgette?)

I grew big white pumpkins once. They were supposed to glow in the dark...what the seed package said. They didn't, but the white was definitely easier to see at night then the orange ones. 🎃

In Australia a courgette is a zucchini and a marrow is a zucchini or courgette that has been left on the bush longer. They grow very quickly here. I will see if I can post a picture there are various varieties some have slightly different coloured skin. Attachments:

TIL courgette is the British, and particularly the New Zealand, name for zucchinis. People in the UK may refer to it as marrows. Thank you Cowslips and DuckDuckGo.
A followup question if I may? Does marrow jam taste sweet?
My favorite jam is the Kirkland Signature Organic Strawberry Spread. Per its label, it's made using "fresh never frozen, organic strawberries". After the harvest, the jam makers combine the organic strawberries with organic cane sugar "to enhance the natural sweetness of the fruit."

The green/orange one is the one you get when they continue to grow. This one was on purpose for the seeds for next year. The yellow one is the climbing version of the courgette. Attachments:

I have never made jam with them. We make raspberry jam, blackberry jam, apricot jam, strawberry jam and plum jam. Also citrus marmalade. That is enough😀

Oh man! I seem glued to this thread with drool running out of my mouth! These all sound so fantastic!
I keep waiting for some scientists to develop all these fruits with all the nutrition but without the sugar! 😆
On a side note... when I read marrow, I thought of like... bone marrow! Was imaging a fruit and made bacon...

Was imaging a fruit and made bacon... lol, me too, I thought of bone marrow and remembered my Grandma and Mom (way back when, like 50 years ago) digging out the marrow of the soup bones and spreading that on bread with some salt and pepper. ... I do like zucchini much better But you all know of tomato jam, yes? that stuff is delicious on burgers or with a charcuterie board

Although, aren’t they “technically” fruit? So…fruit in the traditional sense….like we have in HD. Strawberry, raspberry, blueberry, marmalade, etc.
