With Autumn now upon us - at least in the U.K. I was wondering what everyone was hoping for in the Autumn update? For me something new in the town which has sadly remained under-developed for years and of course the Arctic fox for the sanctuary.

I’d like the same Sooty, the town is one of my favourite parts of the game

Some carnivores indeed. A new shop in town. Additional fishing spots. A second diary mill.

I'd also like an update for our town. It's clearly neclected for a long time. OK, sanctuary was increased, but this doesn't affect the town in any case. So many suggestions were made. I think that would be enough for SC to choose. More fish spots would be nice. When I remember correctly it was a proposal from RescueSquad15. (RS 15)🪓 in another thread. I personally don't give up the hope that SC will introduce a "safety warning" before cutting an original tree, deleting a swamp or blow up stones by accident. In my opinion a more natural feeling would be generated if you are able to integrate those with the machines, animals and so on. It's not always possible to keep them, but it's only suboptimal when it's gone for ever without a warning. If you take a closer look on Greg’s farm you can see what I mean.

How could they update the town? The little town is boxed in, there is no land expansion possibility. Or maybe creating an Island?

So many great ideas!
I would also like some new way to get to and attend the sanctuary without going through town (and triggering eggspess train)

I just want a wheat bailer, or a third feed mill. 🤞🤞

LOL, maybe that's the perception Team Hay Day would like to perpetuate. But when they wanted to give us new lands to unlock on our farm, they appeared magically across the road and down the road. And I'm speculating they slowed down bot activity by requiring a special permit which can't be bought or sold. New content in the Town depends on the imagination and creativity of Team Hay Day, IMO. ==Lynn==

I think they will add carnivores to the sanctuary, and also HOPEFULLY, another feed mill!

Dear farmer, tomorrow, October 1th occurs the new farmpass. This time I'm especially excited because it's Halloween month 🎃 and I'm expecting some nice deco. It doesn't bothers me if the deco is older. The currently diamond offer is nice, no question but in my opinion not spooky enough. Insofar I'm very eager what the coming farmpass will offer. The autumn-update (or do you say fall-update?) will be delayed due to previous problems. We have to be patient. But meanwhile we got used to this, didn't we?

The current one is fall—not intended to be spooky. They’re really cute (except I have to say I find the pink-ish purple rubber boots kind of visually jarring in the big wheelbarrow one that I otherwise like). I’ve seen a few stores carrying larger white pumpkins this year. Halloween deco with black and white pumpkins, too. That must be a “fad” that is becoming increasingly popular here for some reason. They do look really nice with the flowers, though. It feels like a fresh take on the whole pumpkin thing. (Maybe they’ve been popular for years and I’ve just been living under a rock, lol.) Delayed? I missed something. But that’s how games go, I guess. There always need to be adjustments. Better before, than after.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a white pumpkin MommySnooks and when I saw the deco I thought it was garlic 😂😂😂

When I was in Texas, a lot of the pumpkin patches had the really big white ones... and called them
I make a soup in a pumpkin, and both colors taste the same.

Can you really make pumpkin jam? I can’t imagine it. Purée, soup, baked goods, etc., yes. But I can’t wrap my head around it as a jam. 😳

But these are bigger ones. My garden is big, but not that big. Besides that the climate has to be perfect for them to grow “king” size.

Here the ones I’ve started seeing are not as big as the orange ones, but bigger than the ornamentals. Somewhere in between. Maybe a little bigger than a cantaloupe or honeydew. Smaller than a standard round watermelon.

No, and if you have different pumpkins and families you might even grow toxic ones. The regular orange ones that people use to decorate their houses with, or put candles in are good to eat. For other species you have to do some research.

We have white pumpkins here in Texas. Love them! They taste the same as the orange ones. The only difference is the outside color.
