This is my first season playing the valley (finally) and I have a question that I couldnβt find answers to on google or in the legacy guide:
Why does the sanctuary always show the tokens and then a circle with 25% in it. What does the 25% mean? Is it 25% of possible tokens if waiting longer to visit it, or something?

Hey shepherdgirl,
The circle you are asking about is the one in the sanctuary drop off point. The percentage is the amount adjusted to the drop-off total. For instance for dropping off one animal there is no additional gems, dropping off two at once gives you a 10% increase, finally, dropping off three at once gives you 25% increase.
Just so it's clear the amount it shows when you drop off animals is with the % increase already added.

Oh thank you RS15! I never tried delivering less than three, and I would have needed ESP to figure that out. Thanks, it was driving me nuts for the last few days.

Always glad to help whenever I can. Good luck in your valley. Since it's your first time, it can get a little frustrating, but take your time there's plenty of days left to get everything you want. A little tip..try not to travel too far from a drop-off point. Those animals tend get sick riding in the truck, and escape.π

I donβt know for sure but I think that delivering 3 different animals at the same time gives you more % tokens compared to only one or two species.

I donβt know for sure but I think that delivering 3 different animals at the same time gives you more % tokens compared to only one or two species. I have tried many different combinations, and found it doesn't change the percentage. I have also paid attention to the amounts each animals give. Unfortunately there seems to be no pattern. One thing I did find useful, if you are overloaded with one color, and have a truck ready to drop off animals, and will receive more of that unwanted color; don't deliver those animals. Drive around and let at least one escape, collect another animal check the sanctuary again. This should change your color totals. Now you can drop them off. Also, if you need more of one color, collect one animal and see what colors you're getting. If it's what you need, collect another of the same animal. It usually works and adds the same colors. This has worked for me a number of times, but I can't say always.

Here's another tip from a player who is a Valley enthusiast and have won all exclusive decorations except the first one. Be prepare mentally to experience 5 to 8 truck breakdowns per season. They will happen eventually and at the most inconvenient time possible.
I treat the breakdowns as speed bumps designed by Team Hay Day telling us to take break from the Valley and return in a few hours or next day. The best way for me to mitigate them is to play the Valley regularly until I get 1100 each of the three tokens, a goal I usually reach with about 7 days left in the season.

vjI cross fingers that this is not supposed to happen. (Breakdowns) Perhaps is lynnk2021 right. It doesn't hurt to deal with a more fatalistic attitude. Some things never change. We are aware of this, of course. But sometimes we refuse to accept this.
