Hello farmers, I am new to this game and Im level 27. I have some questions for you about how should I play effectively in this level. I want to get coins to buy the fishing area, and I have some machines that are very expansive that I want to buy, like juice machine and smelters. Should I continue with track orders to gain more XP and just leveling up to open more options, or should I stop with track orders and just make things to sell in my RSS until I buy everything I can and than just keep leveling more? What is the best option and why? About selling thing I make, what should I make to do the most profit and as fast as I can? For now I just make chili popcorn, sell hot pepper corps, make cheese, pies, cookies and such stuff. I dont want to do wheating, i dont think it will give me the most profit because you can stuck with a lot of wheat in the silo and my farm ia not big so much that it would be good I think. And about the mine, ive read that maybe you can do more coins by selling the items you use in the mine, and not to make bars. But maybe its a good thing to make bara and then do trackorders with them? What you think? Can you help me a little bit? Thanks

Hey asulin , welcome in our forum. Nice to see you. To your questions: I would like to pay your attention to some catchwords as following: - don't try to level too quick, HayDay is a play of patience, if you level too quick, you'll be frustrated, because you'll miss the machines
- in my opinion it's the best way to concentrate on your RSS, offer products which are in demand, for example chilis, yes, or soy, plant chili over night
- always offer your products with the highest price, ALWAYS!
- you can deal with truck orders, but I recommend only to do so, when there is an event with double coins as reward (look on Sunday noon in the notifications inside the game, you'll get information for the next week)
- the mine is negligible, do it only for your own purpose Last but not least, do it constantly and be patient. It will take some time, but you will success. Perhaps you're getting more advices from other members. I wish you good luck and stamina, you'll get it!

I agree with planting and selling soybeans - always at full price. I did that a lot early on and made a good amount of coins that way. Also, i would say do not do sugar boats. Others may disagree. For me, I would say it makes the most sense to use sugar to makes products to sell full price in your rss. I did few boats or truck orders early on, always selling products full price in my rss instead. If you stock all your machines overnight, there will be lots of nice things to sell in the morning, or later in the day. For my part, I always wheated, and still do. You get good expansion material drops and can sell them - again, at full price - or expand your silo and barn. I think there is even a better market now for wheat than there used to be. If I was starting now, and wheating, I might sell a full rss of wheat at full price. I used to sell 10 wheat for 7 coins, and it sold well. Now I no longer need coins, so I just sell my wheat to the farm visitors because itβs easy. But I would say at your stage, never sell to the farm visitors at your farm house, always sell through your rss. And did we mention always full price?

Ack to blackbrit, I forgot to say to avoid boat orders mostly. They are expensive and the reward doesn't fit the effort. Only exception is, when SC announces a special boat event with the possibility to gain double coins by filling the crates. Or alternatively, if you are in short supply of vouchers. But pay always attention to the required products. If they are too valuable or elaborate in production consider if you are willing to get them away. Sometimes you have to make an agreement with yourself. Stay flexible.

Try to get a friend/neighbor and sell Max price. He/she sells you 10 products for 1 coin. β> repeat.

I agree with planting and selling soybeans - always at full price. I did that a lot early on and made a good amount of coins that way... Thank you for the walk down memory lane. When I was a young farmer many years ago, I planted and sold soy beans at maximum price nonstop. And eventually, I reached one million coins. ==Lynn==

Stop doing boats and trucks, the rewards don't build many coins or XP. Plant and sell crops. Soy beans are your best as they grow fairly quickly and you can always sell at full price. You can easily make 50,000 coins in a day with soy beans.

There has been so much good advice here. Early on I focused on making coin instead of leveling up. I needed coin to buy machines that I knew were coming. I have always wheated and I ALWAYS sell at full price. There may be times of the day when selling wheat is easier than at other times of the day depending on how many bots are in the Daily Dirt. Wheating allows me to accumulate the needed tools to expand my barn and silo and land. Get into a neighborhood where you can team up with others. You are going to find that your farm has certain items that just come to you more often than others. For example I get three nails for every screw. Since I am in a neighborhood I swap my nails for a neighbors screws. It helps. If you see things in the Daily Dirt that are being sold cheap buy them. Then turn around and sell them in your RSS at full price. Be patient. This game is so much fun if you are patient.

To add to what donkeyfan said, I'd avoid trying to gain too much XP until you can catch up with the machines you need. I can't remember what level you can open the town but personally I'd use that rather than trucking if you want to do a farm-based activity. First off the orders are generally smaller. Secondly, there's a time factor involved. Meaning you won't be immediately tempted to do another like you are with trucking. The town allows you in most cases to restock what you've served the visitor. Bear in mind though until you've gotten your town completely expanded and all the buildings maxed out there is a slightly lower reward for serving in the town compared to trucking. IMHO that's offset by the gains you can make from selling the special rewards you receive. Also, be careful of being tempted to grow and sell fruits, both from bushes and trees. While the rewards are pretty high, unless you've got a plan for axes and saws (e.g. running Tom to fetch) you can get yourself into a world of hurt real fast with that method if you overdo it. Personally I'd avoid things like spicy popcorn. There's a glut in the Daily Dirt as it is for that. I suspect there's a far bigger demand for something like cornbread, hamburgers and bacon pies. Even just making and selling bread will add up quickly and the item will sell fast and it's quick and easy to make. Ack to blackbrit, I forgot to say to avoid boat orders mostly. They are expensive and the reward doesn't fit the effort. Only exception is, when SC announces a special boat event with the possibility to gain double coins by filling the crates. I dont think I have ao much time in the day to do those wheating and stuff so I prefer something that take more time and gives more coins for most of the time. About wheating, you are always wheating? You guys dont so other stuff like truckorders? Only selling on your RSS everytime? Its not one of the main goal of the game is just do truckorders? For now I just selling corps like hot peppers and pumkin, I did planted busges abd trees but I will stop it as you say that I will get stuck with them without axes and saws. And I make bacon pies, chili popcorn, cookies, blue/white shirts and cheese, I see its selling for a good price.

If you are going to be offline for 4 hours then peppers are good. Overnight tomatoes are better because they make you a little more profit, plus if youβve got extras you can easily make tomato juice and grilled tomatoes which sell for a little more.
Soybeans are good if youβre going to be around during they day because they only take 20 minutes to grow, and they sell really fast. And itβs not as stressful as wheating because you donβt have to be glued to your device waiting for a new crop.
In general, the benefit to wheating or βsoybeaningβ over doing a longer crop is that (1) you'll make more money on 2x or 3x soybeans than you would make on 1x peppers, but even moreso (2) you make money from the drops. If you sell the expansion items that you get when you wheat or soybean, you really can make a lot of ones pretty quickly.

I made 78,576 coins in one day selling soybeans. If you're trying to earn coins you want to do what will earn you the most the fastest. You asked about truck orders. Yes, I do truck orders when the XP is double and I then double that up with a bonus XP booster, same with boat orders and will also use a 3 crate booster. The only other time I do truck or boats is during a derby, so weekly with every derby. I do work my town every day to keep my barn going and earn XP. I have nearly 40 million coins so I no longer focus on earning mega coins. Your techniques and focus changes and your challenges become different as you move up in level. rbcrewser gives you a lot of good advice. Slow and steady is better than trying to rush. You need to also manage your barn and silo size as the more machines you get the more crops you have to grow and products you need to make. Keeping everything balanced is the key to growing evenly and successfully without too much frustration. You have to do all aspects to achieve the different needs of your farm, but you specifically asked about getting coins quickly, and the best way to do that is to choose your crop and keep it going in your RSS.

All of the advice is great here.
If you are wheating or soyabeaning (or any other crop) make sure your barn has some space in it, as the bonus items will not drop if your barn is full. They are a valuable source of income if you sell them, or can help with expansion, mining, managing trees/bushes, etc.

asulin You will see that all user in this forum are very, very pleasant and helpful. Besides, it's joy for the higher levels to help the lower ones. We all started small once. In general you can say that the best thing you could do would be to stay focussed. But be able to shift, if necessary. Over time you will found your way. The higher you're leveling, the more you'll getting experience. It's you who always decides what suits you best. Maybe you like boat orders, or the truck, or the town, or last but not least the valley. Everything is possible, but not obligatory. And be assured, you will make mistakes, but don't worry, that has happened to everyone. It doesn't matter anymore, because you will be learning from them. @rbcrewser has highlighted this very well. You've got some great tips here π my favourite crops to grow for profit are also soybeans or cotton when I can't check my game that often. I would also say to keep making short time products like bread, carrot juice, carrot pies and plain popcorn, because they give you a better profit per our and always sell with max price. Even the eggs and chicken feed will give you good coins.

asulin If time is a problem then yes as shepherdgirl wrote peppers are a good idea. But for regular game play when you can sit down and look at it often soybeans are a fantastic crop. Theyβll always sell incredibly fast and the XP/coin return is pretty high. As for trucking, I know a lot of people do this to level up and earn the high xp from the orders, but those same players are usually the ones that run into problems at higher levels for a lack of coins. Around the 35-55 level in particular the amount of new things that get thrown at you will overwhelm you if you donβt create a coin cushion. Youβll be leveling up so fast that you canβt afford to buy the machinery needed to fulfill orders. In general it is my opinion you want to be able to afford everything made available to you at the level it becomes available. Once you start leveling up with a growing backlog of production machines the game becomes frustrating and you wonβt enjoy it as much. Especially nowadays thereβs so much more in the game compared to when most of us started. For years itβs been advice given by longtime players that slow and steady wins. Itβs not because anyone wants to hold others back itβs that weβve seen the disappointment and frustrations incurred by those who have charged ahead. Ultimately of course the game is what you want it to be. If you obtain more enjoyment from filling truck orders instead of selling in the RSS then thatβs what you should do. After all the game can be played in so many different ways and adapted as a player sees fit which is why players stick with it for years. I will caution you though that in order for it all to work, one canβt really ignore any aspect of the game. While nothing is really obligatory, it does all serve a purpose. Filling boats gets you the vouchers you need to get the pets and make fishing lures. The pets will give you quite a few drops of special items. Playing the town and serving visitors gets you special items in pretty decent quantities if you play it wisely (especially saws and axes). Trucking will get you XP and coins. The RSS will get you coins and advertising the items will get you the visitors, and friends/followers you need to help you with some of the orders. It takes time but youβll find a fine balance of what works best for you. ETA. Also donβt ignore just filling flagged crates on boat orders in the Daily Dirt. Coins and XP are almost on a par with trucking. Plus itβs a good way to find farms to follow and befriend. ETA #2. When I was at a low level I spent a lot of time working on fishing using the colored lures. I used to find with new fish and new sizes I would earn enough every week to hire Tom. Iβd then either send him off for the highest coin value item I could to resell, fetch axes/saws or stock up on what I needed.Β <<<Why should I do soybeans instead of hot peppers? I dont think I have ao much time in the day to do those wheating and stuff so I prefer something that take more time and gives more coins for most of the time. And about equipment to upgrade silo and barn so you just making corps like wheat or soybeans? Sell equipment you have and keep the ones you need to upgrade with?

Post by misspoufy on Jul 1, 2021 14:54:18 GMT
<<<As for the selling of upgrade materials, I think that need you will find most players concentrate on expanding either the silo or the barn at one time and then flip once theyβve done so.>>>
My advice is yes. Focus on one expansion at a time. So if you're expanding your barn sell land, town, and silo expansion items at full price. You will make coins, pick up friends and followers (which aids you in the long run) and keeps open space in your barn which is very valuable.
Constantly have one thing that you are expanding, rotate so your barn doesn't overshadow your silo (if you can't keep enough crops you can't produce what you need, etc.) or vice versa.

And about equipment to upgrade silo and barn so you just making corps like wheat or soybeans? Sell equipment you have and keep the ones you need to upgrade with? This can happen because of how you are grouped, including, Iβve guessed, what region of the world is seeing your ad and whether people are asleep. (That is me guessing.) What I do if products are moving slowly is place a second ad for the same item four minutes later (ie asap) and that has always solved the problem. When the second ad hits the DD, buyers flood my rss and I can restock. If I have a lot of wheat, and a lot of buyers, I used to restock while they were there until I ran out. Grow more, and repeat. Also I always place the ad on the product in the far right of my rss. That way buyers may not buy the product with the ad on it right away. This of course only applies when buying is slow. That way the ad will stay up in more editions of the DD.

What is this town you all mentioned? What level it will be open to me? From the Hay Day Wiki: The town is a game feature which gives players a new area to play in and the opportunity to gain coins, experience points, and reputation points by filling town visitors' orders.
It can be unlocked at experience level 34 by repairing the train station located on the farm.
From reputation level 3 and up, it lets players interact with the sanctuary. The Wiki is a wonderful reference guide. You can get to it from the link at the left on your dashboard. I hope this helps

Hi asulin, in addition to all tips given... When you reach the level to access town, do it. My advice would be, try to expand town regarding to shops and more land slowly, but constantly. It takes a long time, don't become impatient. According to experience it's more easier to expand when you begin as early as possible. The longer you are waiting to do so the more difficult and more struggle is awaiting you. Exception: You don't like the town at all. But believe me, the town is one of the most balanced and effective places to grow in HayDay, assumed it's full developed. This seems actually like dreams of the future, but I think you should keep it in mind. CU, donkeyfan

So this is where everyone's hiding π€π So my favorite thing to sell are carrots, feed (chicken and goats) and most excess barn/silo supplies. I read a tip once to focus on expanding one of them each time and sell the other. Also stops my barn from getting too full.
