Does anyone else notice that the paper is flooded with sugar cane?
This has been happening since last week and I first thought it was from the Chill derby but it is still going on.

Some from Blossom, but the majority of the low level farms (9-13) with the farm name "a" or "b" are sugarcane bot farms, presumably trying to level up to access the free Tom hire at level 14 without getting banned by SuperCell.

Yes they do, but you don’t know what triggers something by us buying them. The P bot was famous for stealing our EMs as soon as we put them up in our RSS. Some a and b farms have multiple followers, must be for the additional items. |

This is all very interesting and frustrating as well.
I am not aware of "bots" buying on the RRS. But the whole stand sells at once. I don't have a chance for LE.
Also talk about being discontinued?? By SC
Wow! Am I struggling for nothing going through the DD all day long?
Are we controlled that much?

For those who don't recall, I created and updated the Bot FAQ in the now defunct Supercell forums, specifically in the Hay Day subforum. Since we may not refer the Pandora bot by name, some posters called it the P bot. In the FAQ, i described it as the bot named after a female character in Greek mythology who opened a box. |

This morning I have a sugarcane task, and my stock was a little low, so I turned to the Daily Dirt. There wasn't a single advert for it, over several refreshes. Perhaps Supercell have has a clearout; I certainly hope so!  |

I bought 2x cow feed from one yesterday. To my surprise the farm didn't have any cows nor a feed mill. Makes me wonder where it got them from...

I bought food also.
After reading about these farms, I have been checking them out.
A nice little collection bought from them...tapes, boxes of nails, bolts, and saws 👌

No, the farm level was single digit so no access to Tom yet. Plus it would mean the bot hires Tom to buy useless stuff (the farm did not have cows to feed). But that would explain why all these A and B farms buy so many caterpillar decos. No logic wasting coins like that. And there are other farms in the paper that appear too often, ones with longer names that buy too many toy soldiers |

I find it frustrating that the DD is getting filled up by the an and b farm ads. My paper still has multiple an and b farms and I think they are hoping to fill the newspaper! I don’t see any real reason for their activity since they aren’t advancing.

I’ve been careful to avoid the “lower case” bot farms since the glut of sugar cane appeared. They are so easy to spot. Today, however, I came close to running out of sugar cane. I planted my remaining store and went shopping. Usually I can find a real farm with some to sell pretty quickly. I was pleased to see that there were zero “a/b” farms in two cycles of the DD. The next cycle only had two. I’m not sure if it’s an aberration, but it’s encouraging to think that there may be an end in sight for this particular bot.

I am trying to avoid an and b farms too as much as I can. I remeber how people on the old forum got caught up when these farms were prevalent years ago and some had their accounts suspended…..if I remember correctly.

That could become a real problem when the Treats Maker Event starts on Tuesday, because one of the items has sugarcane as an ingredient. So people who aren't aware of what's going on with those farms may buy a lot from them. |

Without any other farm, single digit farm level can survive thanks to Wheel of Fortune and their generous neighbor Greg. And they can sell to Farm Visitor or to Tom/Greg (via RSS shop) when they need space. That is basic mecanism to keep lonely players going and not getting stuck.
