Hi again forum members, it is some time since I’ve posted but I just wanted your views on my and my fellow hood members situation.
All our hood team are very high level players and have now been together for over 10 years. We always complete every derby and challenge to collect as many scrolls, chick vouchers and jigsaw pieces that are available - we do not spend cash.
So as of now we have completed all jigsaws, opened all land and have all the birds and scrolls, chick vouchers and jigsaw pieces are now useless and not offered now as rewards which saddens us.
We all feel that Suoercell needs to create another feature or challenge to keep the very high level and motivated players within the game and allow us to collect and use scrolls etc… Suppose this is just a moan hoping that this note may capture the attention of their development team.

Uhm... Have you thought about trying the famous Scorch Earth Challenge? It was quite popular in ex SC forum when high level players ran out of things to do.
Or spice up your way to do things by adding a restriction within a duration of time, to each of the players , such as: always sell 1 kind of 'EM, not allowed to plant 1 kind of crop, etc, forbid to use helper/booster/ speed up production/ buy farm pass....
Those are a few suggestions if you are bored. For new contents, gotta wait for new updates in upcoming months.

LOL, Frog. I do recall the infamous and aptly named Scorch Earth Challenge. One member completed it and pour himself an adult beverage afterwards.
When I become a level 200+ player like Sooty, I'll do it and end my journey with the game. ;-)

I challenged myself to complete the Scorched Earth Challenge a few times during the pandemic. Did the full challenge twice. I don't remember exactly how long it took me to finish, but it was definitely at least one full calendar month. Probably even close to six weeks. I never did the challenge when it was a thing back on the old forum, but I remember having fun reading about the experiences of those who completed the different versions of the challenge at the time. But oh man, all those jams we currently have in the game...... kinda kill the fun of it 🙃😅

Hi Sooty, it does seem Supercell are trying, possibly a bit too hard right now, to get players to spend a lot of cash, but if we dont all spend a little bit then who will pay the developers to create another feature ? |

One thing I would like to see considered is an improvement to the “edit” feature. When life was simpler about 100 levels ago, I used to completely rearrange my farm at least once a year. Now, there’s just too much of everything to make setting up new layouts anything but a chore. I would love to see some way high level farmers could set up and play with layouts that don’t include every last “required” item. It might be a variation on the “scorched earth” challenge. As it stands, I haven’t visited the edit feature for years.

I fell in love with the Venice canals, so it’s permanent now, no matter the season. Squashes my town a little, lol. Same thing with certain other areas of the farm. Trail ride isn’t moving, etc. So every time I get a new deco I really like, I have to find little things to juggle to try to fit it somewhere. The idea of doing a new layout always puts me off, as it falls into the category of: “As much as I want to, I don’t have time for this”. |

I have used all five slots in the edit mode and need more of them added, PLEASE SC‼️ It was taking me four or five days to decorate from one season to another, now I can do it in one night. Playing since the beginning of HayDay I have a ton of decorations. My level is over 250 and I have opened all my land. In certain events you can still get scrolls, I have 25. The puzzle pieces are a different story. I do think they are pushing decorations on us, so we will spend more money. Again, everyone has the choice to buy or not. I so enjoy the game.

I totally agree, I gave up on the country & summer fair several days ago. Can’t save puzzle pieces, I’ve opened up all the land, got all of the birds. Already have loads of vouchers, nothing to spend them on. Even the derby is getting boring, there was nothing I needed on the rewards. I’m playing less & less, it’s a shame. I’m only a couple of days away from mastering the essential oils lab, & I’ve been doing that very slowly. We definitely need more farm activities & challenges to work on. I’m not interested in just collecting deco, that’s not really playing a game. |
