Few minutes ago I received a survey. It was said that it takes approximately 45 minutes and is supposed to improve playing experience. Did someone else got this survey, too?
As far as I remember we had already this survey. At that time it was also stated that it is meant to increase the playing experience. A win-win situation, so to speak. I also remember questions being very curious, sometimes a little bit too much and very often with little or better said not obvious regard to HayDay.
Thus said and having in mind that the last time when it pops up it was very similar I refused participating. I doubt that my answers would be used to enhance the game experience but rather serve 3rd party companies connected with SC to place more fitting ads. So thanks, but NO, thanks.
How is your experience? Did someone else receive the survey and dealt with it? THX for your input. 🙂

I received it this morning. I didn’t get it last time. I went back in the forum and found it. Several people didn’t do it and it crashed on several more. Last week I finished all the animals, birds, and my land has been fully opened. After playing this game since it opened, I thought it was funny that I just now heard from them. Maybe they are afraid I will stop playing.😉😂 It did take forever, over 100 questions. The only private questions they asked was my gender, age, and if I had children. Maybe the new owners will be more interested in our opinions. We can hope❣️❣️❣️

Yes I got it this morning. Refused it. When I opened the game again in the afternoon it was there again. I never take on surveys from companies that I don’t thrust or where the exact reasons are not clear. SC is on multiple social media channels, if they read the feedback given by the players they should know what they want to know. Over 100 questions……., no way.

I received the survey, and completed it.
It was surprisingly relevant to Hay Day, unlike earlier HD surveys in which I have participated. There were specific questions about the valley, the Derby, neighbourhoods, and so on. There were opportunities to enter narrative text (at one I put "sanctuary valley - good; chicken valley - bad").
The only personal questions I had were gender, age and whether I have children.
It felt to me as though an effort was being made to improve the game, but I wonder how many contradictory answers the questions get. 🤔

I too received it but I haven’t completed it yet.. nor have I decided whether I want to complete it though I’m tempted to give my honest opinion about the Valley.

It took me about 35 minutes to complete the survey conducted by Immersyve Research about Hay Day. IIRC, I answered 122 questions. When the survey asked what would it take for me to spend monies on the game, I typed, "I'd spend real monies on game to interact with a live Player Support Agent instead of Supercell Automated Support because it's so atrocious and awful I wouldn't recommend it to my most hated enemy!!!"I like Question 120 which asked for my gender. The three choices are "male, female, or nonbinary/third gender". I identify as male, so kudos to Team Hay Day for developing their game for everyone including players who identify as nonbinary. I had to X out the first time I saw it on one of my farm. Didn't plan to stay on for 45m, nor complete a long survey on mobile phone screen. This could be a reason that players won't be able to get to this survey, let alone completing it. Luckily I was able to trigger the survey again when switching farm and this time I took the screenshot of the link of survey. I noticed I would be able to replace player ID by the one from my main account. Will complete this survey, on a computer, some time this weekend when I find 45m to spare. Very eager to provide answers with my 10+ years of experience with Hay Day  Note: if someone want to access this survey on a computer, I can share the link. Edit: survey finally completed. |

@all Thanks a lot for your input. Though I don't agree with every opinion (that's normal and ought to be so) I appreciate the contribution and different approaches. Finally - IF the survey is really meant to result in a better game experience it should be done. My problem is...I don't trust the whole thing and rather stay cautious. Like ducktown2021 already stated. On the other hand I think it's a good thing that some members take their time and complete it. Especially with those comments regarding "support" from lynnk2021. 🙂👍 |

I did the survey yesterday, I didn’t get the last one. It took along time and some of the questions were repetitive. It was good to give view having played so long and a lot of the questions were not relevant to me as they were aimed at newer players or gaming in general.
The one question that slightly concerned me was about if the graphics look outdated. I really hope they are not going to change the appearance of the game. The images on social media have changed style (which I personally do not like) and we recently had a deco in this style which didn’t fit in with the others. When the changed the interface there was outrage that it looked childish and cartoonish and the game could go this was too in the hope of attracting youngsters.

I was going to answer the survey until I got to the last line in the invitation : 45 minutes. Get out of here. Not going to happen. In my book asking someone to spend 45 minutes on a survey is just plain ridiculous.

I got the survey and I did complete it. I thought they were really trying to get at who plays, and why they play it and to try to figure out the direction the game goes.
Some questions were trying to get at who spends money on the game, if you don’t , then why? And what would entice you to spend money.
It’s a business and businesses have to be profitable in order to stay in business.

I wouldn’t mind looking for 45 min this weekend, if I could get it again. It popped up when I checked in before work and had to leave, and hasn’t popped up again.
