FrogI agree especially with one point you mentioned.... The advantage for long-time players. IIRC there were several complaints in the past about the rewards given. It was said that those favor players in low levels with basic items which are not prio 1 for long-time players. With regard to this it seems only "fair" to change the odds for the last mentioned players. I also see the difficulties for team HayDay to do every kind of player justice. It's impossible, it's always making some sort of compromise. Sometimes you favor one group of players and sometimes the other. 🙂

Totally agreed with you, puzzles.
A few words on the way truck orders are generated: - the total amount depends on farm level. The higher level, the bigger amount of item asked. - amount of koi is equal to the amount of xp that truck order generated, before any bonus. If you see higher xp, it means machine bonus have been added. Order with crop or animals products have same amount of xp and koi. - coin and xp are directly linked to the amount of items, that'w why higher level farm can get truck orders with more koi and gather the amount needed quickly. - coin and xp per item is representative of how easy/difficult that item can be produced - items with high XP amount usually products that are unlocked at a later stage
So, if I compare a farm at level 250 (farm A) and another at level 350 (farm B) with same barn capacity, if they want to gather 100 000 koi, with the same strategy puzzles mentioned (do only selected truck orders), then they both would face the same difficulties (via xp of the item needed), though farm A will do more number of truck orders than farm B. => the bigger the barn capacity, and the better barn management strategy, the easier to achieve the goal, regardless the farm level.
Beside the decoration talk, strategy is one of the things I like and appreciate in Hay Day.

Definitely the lower level farm will need to send more trucks on average to accumulate the same XP/koi as the higher level farm, though if both are using the same criteria for picking orders, the total number of products is about the same, and that's something some people miss. Fortunately, even with a lot of truck order trashing, you get a good look at a high number of potential orders per game day, so it's more of just a time advantage that higher level player has as they can send more products out at once.
Peanut-based products have high XP and have a good chance of coming up as a solo product order with a high quantity vs a multi-product order (as does beeswax and honey). I wish I took a screenshot of the 22 snack mix order I had. It would have a base koi value of 4,554 but could vary as high as 6,831 or as low as 2,277 koi for truck orders with the same amount of product, so the strategic player would decline a 3K-4K order to get a higher return for their snack mix.
After completing this event, I started a project to collect the base coins/XP for each product/crop in the game. I've collected more than half the data. It's more for intellectual curiosity than applying the data to measure the relative worth of orders.

Anthropomorphised animals are still my bug bear within Hayday 😅 So none of the decos particularly appeal I would have loved the kites but the addition to it of the clothed chickens put me off Got all the puzzle and permits and few other random ticket, coin and mining tool bits along with the tom card If I'd have wanted the decos too (or had space for the chick vouchers) I can imagine it would have been much more of a slog Now to slowly replenish the barn 😅 I am in agreement with you BauldersGate, most of the decor did not appeal for the same reason. I got all the land permits and Puzzle pieces along with the expansion materials saws etc.

I’ve always been fond of the chicken running around in the tent, and I’ve always preferred my animals without clothing. (I can accept the hats when they are my choice.)I don’t think those are the ones you’re talking about. Luckily, I don’t have to purchase, earn, or display the anthropomorphised ones. Here’s my solution for the fish kites — hide the chickens! This is the most recent in a long history of trees hiding things (beginning with “Barbie” machines) on my farm.

Unpopular opinion here. I'm pretty pleased with the catalogue. It covers pretty much these aspects.. Speaking of the catalog, I didn't keep track of my truck orders I fulfilled or the number of fishes I earned. Here's a list of the stuff I bought. 1 fish kite 1 taiko drummer 9 puzzle pieces 3 chick vouchers 7 expansion permits I got what I wanted from the Golden Week Truck Event, so I'm taking a break from being a trucker. ;-)

Woohoo! We reached Golden Week Milestone 5 by fulfilling over 700 million trucks. The reward is 4000 koi points so please claim them in the shop by tapping the diamond/coin icon in the upper right corner and then slide right. And thank you fellow awesome truckers!

The milestone golden fishes proved very useful
I had decided not to bother on baby farms
But having collected those milestone fishes I was able to purchase the set of 3 expansion permits
Then earn just 300 from a few small truck orders in order to also purchase the single expansion permit
So both baby farms got 4 expansion permits each with little effort 😁

Hi, can someone please verify if my understating below is correct?
- the trucks will not arrive with the fish points as from tomorrow? (on the event board, it says 16 h 9 min - time now 17:50).
- we will able to collect the rewards the coming 2 days? (it says "leaving in 2 days 16 h")
Thanks.

Now I saw two permits (60000 points) and some other stuff. I don't think they were there before because I unfortunately have limited time to do the event and I got the permits + the vouchers as I had initially planned. Then, if our interpretation is correct, the trucks will not have the points (by now) after 15 hours 27 m = the event is over / but we can still collect the rewards. (I want the two permits but it seems impossible for me to gather 60000 points if the event is by tomorrow).

60K points is going to require a bit of product and some luck on getting orders that tilt towards xp/koi fish vs coins. I managed more than that per event day but I had quite a stock of goods and trashed any tasks I though not worth what they were asking. You could see if any game friends are done with the event and wouldn't mind flagging any high xp/koi orders on their board.

Yes, I tried to do the truck at least on 1 farm but I really got tired of trashing unworthy orders. Some orders are quite disproportional. Also tried to do more low points orders with much less products, helped friends' trucks etc. No chance. Anyway, at least I got some permis and vouchers. I love the event as it was not stressful, and especially that all the rewards have become available for selecting (not time-limited). Only that I wish they had considered "higher" level farms etc. as they are quite experienced to take this into account, and have added the additional rewards from the start. Hoping that the rewards in the future events will be settled from the start so some players that unfortunately do not have time can plan properly.

For what it's worth, the rewards for a level 16 (did not unlock neither booster, permit, chick voucher, puzzle piece, blueprint yet) are very good for the farm development:
- page 2, 3, 4, 5 stay the same so I won't list them - page 6: 12x nail (1920 koi) - 15x dynamite (2400 koi) - 15x tnt (2400 koi) - page 7: 15x panel (2400 koi) - 15x plank (2400 koi) - 15x tape (2400 koi) - page 8: 15x screw (2400 koi) - 15x nail (2400 koi) - 5x tnt (800 koi) - page 9: 5 dynamite (800 koi) - 5x axe (800 koi) - 5x saw (800 koi) - page 10: 5x shovel (800 koi) - 6x saw (960 koi) - 4x axe (640 koi) - page 11: 4x nail(640 koi) - 4x panel (640 koi) - 2200x (1000 koi - 2 available) - page 12: 4x bolt (640 koi) - 4x shovel (640 koi) - 4x screw (640 koi) - page 13: 4x axe (640 koi) - 2x saw(320 koi) - 4500x coin (2000 koi) - page 14: same deco and price - page 15: 15x bolt (2400 koi) - 15x plank (2400 koi) - 16000x coin (10000 koi) - page 16: 15x tape (2400 koi) - 15x nail (2400 koi) - 15x screw (2400 koi) - page 17: 15x panel (2400 koi) - 15x bolt (2400 koi) - 15x plank (2400 koi)
Looks like coin amount depends on level.
