Please pardon the interruption but I'd like to share the following news: Supercell announced its game Squad Busters will be launching globally on May 29, 2024! supercell.com/en/news/squad-busters-goes-global/Though I'm not sure if my current Android device meets the system requirements, I'm very excited because the last global release was in 2018 and was called Brawlstars. I think everyone at Supercell is breathing a sigh of relief that the drought is finally over. Congratulations everyone! Quality is worth waiting for. Moreover, I'm absolutely delighted two of Supercell's brightest stars are developing Squad Busters: Game Lead Eino Joas and Game Designer Jonas Collaros. For those who don't know, Mr. Joas and Mr. Collaros worked on Supercell's megahit game Clans of Clans and I'm grateful for their contributions then and now. Since it's still crab season, I'll go the market later and buy a live crab. Then I'll bring it home, kill it humanely, and offer it to the Game Gods before steaming it for dinner. Thank you Game Gods for the global release of Squad Busters In the midst of joy, I'm bowing my head and must remember the following beta games which were killed after Brawlstars: Rush Wars, Hay Day Pop, Clash Quest, Everdale, Flood Rush, and Clash Mini. Their sacrifices taught developers how to make the best possible version of Squad Busters for a global launch. Quality is worth killing for.Glory alone to the Game Gods. |

Not sure exactly why, but 5 diamonds were available free … in Hay Day, click the coin/diamond icon, scroll left … title says ‘Squad Busters Milestone’.

I did click the link in the pop-up to view the description in the App Store, but not sure I’d you had or do that to make the diamond reward available

LOL. SB is in beta now. Are you playing it? I need to wait until 29th of May for the global release. Some players called it a walking simulator. ;-) |

I saw several videos of SB and the game play looks similar to Brawlstars which I tried and didn't like because it was too frenetic and I had trouble with the controls.
IIRC, Brewlstars is Supercell's top grossing game and reached $1 billion in revenues the quickest of all Supercell games. Maybe Team SB is trying to clone Brawlstars like Boom Beach did with Clash of Clans? I'm sure they know what they're doing and try very hard not to cannibalize their megahit game.

I'm planning to try it out. I'll know pretty quickly if it's something I'm interested in (although ducktown's description of "chaos all over your screen" doesn't sound good!)

Maybe if I'd have ever played other supercell games the idea of "evolving" them might appeal but I have no idea who most of them are 😆

I love the island/beach theme of it and the music is very relaxing! |

I’m not sure that I trust SC with a new game. I haven’t got over the loss of Everdale yet. Indeed, I think Everdale is in purgatory for mobile games. IIRC, Supercell killed it in October 2022 and sold it to its investee Metacore to develop in January 2023. Sadly, there has been no news since then. |

I clicked the voucher and got the carrot hat that is currently on the paid path in Farmpass. (I did not pay for Farmpass)
Did anyone else get a different hat?
OMG I just went back on my farm and alllll the carrot hats changed to the hat that was actually offered! Oh well too bad, I like the carrot hat better!

None of my animals wear hats. When I clicked on the voucher I saw the Squad Busters hat fly. When I clicked on my goats to try out the hat, the last two hat stands in the gallery both showed carrot hats. I placed one of each on two of my goats, and they both showed the carrot hat. I closed down my farm, and then reopened it. One goat is now wearing the Squad Busters hat, and the other has the carrot hat. The gallery now shows the carrot hat and the Squad Busters hat. |

I was going to try out SB but couldn’t even get past the opening screen where they ask your age. Screen is frozen … oh well.

I played through the tutorial, but quit after acquiring the first ream member. Not my type of game. I wish Supercell all the best, but Hay Day is going to be very hard to top, in my opinion.

I gave it a go. I got into some thing with other players and won... not really sure how as I didn't really know what I was doing. I haven't given up on it though, just need to figure it out. Though if I can win while not knowing what I'm doing I'll stick with it!

I haven't tried Squad Busters. I saw it in a video and this is not my type of game.
But for those you try it and like to play it:
You should have a look on the social media sites of the content creators. Some have released an QR Code to get 5000 coins for the game.
