I got the info from a German SC forum, that SC is absolutely aware of the problem and that they are working intensely to fix the bug. Hopefully it will not take so long.... I was aware that Supercell established official forums in other languages besides English, but I forgot about them until now. donkeyfan, the German SC forum is still running and hasn't been affected by the closure of the English-speaking SC forum? ==Lynn==

Have now somehow managed to get in on my phone....but if I come out have to clear cache and data every time to get back in. Frustrating but not the end of the world as I mainly play on my android tablet which seems to be fine!

Installed optional update, launch, game freezes.
Force stop, clear cache (but not user data), launch, game freezes.
Restart phone, launch, game freezes.
Is clearing App User Data critical to restoring functionality? What does that affect? Just need to log in again?

Update to update Cleared cache and App user data, restarted, launched game, went through all the login steps, played a little, exited, relaunched, and got back in. So it seems the optional update works with a Hay Day User Data deletion.

Game opened with the letter from uncle scene (I never remembered this when I joined) clicked on game in cloud and now I'm playing. I wonder if ill have to go through this everything I log out...maybe ill not log out and put phone on charger? Ideas? Oh, and I asked teammates to join.

I'm (fortunately) not experiencing the continual "loading" issue, but yesterday when I switched from playing mini farm back to my main, I got the initial intro to the game as well. I also experienced my main account not even being an option to switch over to (it wasn't even there), but that one could possibly be due to a slower internet speed when (too many) tourists are in town.

My game works fine now, but I had this problem, "not responding" and clearing data only for one entering. It was fixed for me before the optional update so I want to share my experience, maybe it'll be helpful for someone else. For info, I use Samsung Galaxy A51 6 Gb RAM, Android 11. First of all, that's a screenshot of my post on supercell forum with method to enter the game with supercell id not entering verification code every time. A temporary solution to make the enter easier if your game is loaded at least once after clearing data. Not sure it'll be working for everyone, but some players said that worked for them too. Also I remembered what could help me solve the problem. I can't determine exactly what helped, because I did different things, some of them with very important mistake, and, in between of this, I used the method to play. I did usual steps like reinstalling the game, restarting the phone, clearing some space, and I want to pay attention to these actions, with apps, Google Play Services, Google Play Games, Android System WebView because I strongly suppose it could be them (it seems to me like there're problems with Google). You may try to work with Google Play Services, to clear cache, uninstall app updates, install again. With restarting of the device. My experience. I didn't clear Services cache on my phone, although as I looked after it can be cleared (I think itās better not to clear data, it can be cause of device errors). I stopped the app and deleted updates. I didn't install update right away, only on the second day of normal playing. But at that time I didn't restart the phone right away (although it's important!!!), and game didn't work usually after that. I restarted the phone next day when it worked. Of course I'm not sure if it exactly helped, but I suppose it could be that thing. Also there's an advice from Google Support to clear cache and data of Google Play Games, but I didn't, I just installed the latest update. By the way, in Games you can disable automatic login to the game with your Google account. Many players noted that it worked for them to disconnect from Google Play in game (with optional update). I only tried it before the optional update and experiment with Services, then it wasn't working for me. Now I tried to log in with Google Play several times, it works for me. With optional update too. I reinstalled update for Android System Webview the same way as I did with Services. I think my mistake was not to restart the phone right away after any actions with these apps, because they're system, you should do this for cleaning and changing things. Maybe because of that I didn't see any result at once and I can't be sure what helped me. Other things that I tried were only changing internet signal and using VPN. And for complete picture, I wrote my phone model on the supercell forum, this was the only place where I wrote about my problem. Edit: And some players say that to disable Google Play ServicesĀ helps them to play as usual. If Google Play isn't the only way to save your progress of course.

It's a brand new phone... samsung s10 ultra.. so it's completely unacceptable that the game wont load... and hayday seems to be ignoring this issue now? There are still so many ppl that can't load the game. Hayday are u still working on fixing it or what? Please communicate with your players!! Or do you not care? My mom is a long time player of the game and this is how she and many others are treated? Soon time to delete the app i think.

I'm still having the problem getting game to open. Every time I have to force stop and delete cache and data. Restart phone to get the game intro... this is getting to be a real pain and I shudder to think if this stops working. I've played several years level 158 and this was something with the update. Don't know why SC doesn't fix it. Go to play store and read the HD reviews. Seems this problem is everywhere. *sigh*

And their support is useless, although im sure they do pass along the issues.

Hi lynnk2021, I just checked my HayDay version, it's 1.51.91. The last optional updates applied to my knowledge to special devices, which didn't work although there were offered a lot of workarounds on the part of SC. Finally SC decided therefore to provide a solution which should fix these problems. Although my tablet was running fine, I downloaded both updates. All good.
