As we've noticed for the past weeks, there's a glut of ores in the newspaper. For the next seven days, every time I log into game, I'll flip through the newspaper and buy at least 100 ores. I'm curious to see how quickly my ores are sold if I priced 10 ores for 1 coin. Would some players resell them at higher prices for a quick profit? Or would they load them in the smelters to make bars and make jewelry?
Good luck everyone and may the odds be in your favor!
I prefer not to reveal my farm name or player ID because I believe in serendipity. Again, good luck in finding me aka Lynnsanity in the newspaper. ;-)

I've been selling ore at mostly 1 coin for quite a while now 😅
Ever since the introduction of the task line I've kept the smelters at the point of:
"Collect items to free up production que!"
When I take a mining task for a derby I check to see if I need to make any particular jewellery and collect any made bars I need
Then refill the smelters, using collecting ore/products to keep my barn full so as not to collect any more already made bars
(animal feed is good for that because it fills 3 spaces whilst creating a bar uses 3 spaces, so you can place the 3 ore for smelting, pick up a bag of animal feed you've made from the mill and so on and so forth till smelter is full without you actually having collected anything more from it)
I always have excess ore I need to sell at some point and given the state of the newspaper I just sell for 1 gold
Goes reasonably fast depending on the type, with coal being the slowest to sell
On the flip side if I need to quickly be at barn capacity to stack stuff better then Its very easy to do nowadays with all the available ore to buy 😅
