Events are definitely becoming harder!
Few boat events where we needed
5,500,000 in 2 days
=2,750,000 needed per day
1 boat event where we needed
9,000,000 in 4 days
=2,250,000 needed per day
1 boat event where we needed
9,000,000 in 3 days
=3,000,000 needed per day
1 boat event where we needed
10,000,000 in 3 days
=3,333,333 needed per day
We often manage
Around 6,000,000 in 2 days
So 3,000,000 per day is doable
This current boat event asks for
8,000,000 in 2 days
=4,000,000 needed per day
Even for the 3 day boat event that everyone really tried for (the mushroom bench deco) we only managed 3,644,500 a day
....not that I'm even sure what the deco is 🤔 I think 1 snowy Bush?
Hasn't been on Facebook, and wasn't announced as a deco event before hand when the weekly event board came out

I'm really frustrated by the goals that clearly aren't reachable based on recent history. I can't imagine that they're intentionally setting us up for failure, but that's what keeps happening.

It definitely feels intentional although I don't know why they would do that! It's possible that they hope we'll spend a lot of diamonds to speed boats up, so we can do a lot more of them. But if so, we haven't done that historically, so it doesn't seem realistic to think that we would suddenly do that. I've been thinking that the unrealistic goals are the result of somebody not paying attention to past results – or just not thinking the situation through clearly. |

I'm hoping with the recent return of Camilla as the Game Designer, global events and global goals is one of the many items in the game she'll review and discuss her solutions with Team Hay Day.

If they really want us to use the diamonds to speed up so many boats (for this type event) maybe they should offer big diamond packages at a big discount.
It seems like the new trend is to charge diamonds for more and more options that make the game faster/easier/more competitive and special- can't-get-it-any-other way beautiful deco... at the same time the price of said diamonds is getting more and more costly. I know in our hood we used to buy the 4000 diamonds for the $70 often, now the cost is almost $100. In this day of such high prices, and fixed incomes, several of us are choosing to not get things we really want.
Maybe they could do some sort of a regular Super Sale on the 1st of each month... then the rest of the month can be their regular prices.... ju...st a thought

If the aim is 2 mill every 12 hours then we might actually be on track to win if pace doesn't slip!
I can't imagine having sent over 3500 boats like the top contributor has done....the amount of diamond they must use and tickets they must own!!

I’m glad we made it, but ONE BUSH, really. That was a lot of hard work and cleaning out your barn. Five bushes would have been more realistic and fair play in my opinion.

48 hours break from the game and I am too late. Unless I spend a ridiculous amount of diamonds. Well that is not going to happen, however cute the little bush is. Congratulations to the players who got the decoration. It was really nice, that we (well without me) - finally - again reached the target.

I asked Hay Day Reddit if anyone experienced the beneficial bug and a player posted he or she got the Frozen Bush after completing 4 boats.

Wasn’t three boats the requirement for “participation” (or was it four?), where you get the prize if the global goal is reached. It’s always like that, as far as I know. ? Am I missing something, since my boats were too greedy and I was too busy to pay attention? But my gut tells me this wasn’t a “beneficial bug”,
