Please don't think I'm being an apologist for Supercell - I'm not! I know how frustrating players find bugs; I share that frustration. Over the years there have been several intermittent bugs - the slow bees one, for example, where we would return to the game after a period of time, only to find that the bees hadn't been working in our absence, and started flying again on our return. I see a resemblance in that issue to the current one with the personal train. I know that Supercell put a lot of time and effort into resolving the slow bees bug, but it took them quite a while to get to the bottom of what was causing it. Intermittent bugs can be particularly hard to resolve (as many a car mechanic has pointed out!) Team Hay Day is aware of the problem. No doubt they are working on resolving it. Fingers crossed that they soon find a solution. In the meantime, I've adjusted my game play to try to work around the bug as best I can. :) While I understand your position, if I were to support the game by buying diamonds, I would expect Team Hay Day to squash the bugs in their game and not allow them to fester like graffiti in a neighborhood. Apparently, I'm wrong about their pride of craftsmanship in their game.
As long as paying customers accept this condition as the new normal, why would I be motivated to squash the bugs if I worked on Team Hay Day? Since I don't work for Supercell, I'd like to suggest players withhold their purchases from Supercell until the bugs are gone.

So this thread is turning into another "fix the bug"? I wanna join  Supercell, please fix the bug, or else we will hold all the bunnies hostage until Easter  . But if there is anyone else like me and Cowlips, who are interested in exploring and sharing feedback for a later community guide or even better, to prepare for the players the day they have question about this "Beta" feature, you are cordially invited to discuss your own experience, asking for tips and share your feedback when playing with the beta. Cheers to a new feature experience in Hay Day !  |

Did they really recycle an old party hat? I can’t see any difference. Really, the deco is not inviting me to spend the money. Like always, I will be waiting for the valley to make the decision. I too, just noticed that. Dummies. This month’s farm pass will be the first I’m sitting out since it started. Nothing I want or need. Same old boring stuff. Sadly, I’m spending less and less time in the game. I’ve pretty much lost interest at this point. It’s kinda like Groundhog Day every morning. |

I’m with DHMcD. I’ve bought the farm pass every month since it was introduced, but I’m going to “pass” on the farm pass this month. I could use the chick vouchers and the permits, and I’d like the little chick skiing hill. Everything else is not tempting.
Why are there only deeds and no stakes or mallets? Why on earth would they offer TEM maps as one of the premium prizes when thousands of us have been selling those for years? (Didn’t something like that appear on an early special event path?)
Why do they come up with endless new fence styles when many of us would be delighted to be offered more of the older fences that we’re never able to get enough of to do much with? They offer old decor items which I think is a good idea for those who missed them, but I want older fences.
Basically, the only reason I play the valley or the farm pass is for LEMs and permits, chick vouchers, and (some) decor items.
EDIT: Add the derby to the list of features I only participate in for LEMs.
I forgot about the puzzle pieces. I’ll take those when they appear on the farm pass path or in a treasure chest, but the only reason I work on my sanctuary animals is to get the decor that comes with them. The only time I wake them up is for event waking/feeding.

Yes the bugs are annoying and I whinge as much as anyone but Cowslips and Frog are right, we can adjust.
As regards the game being repetitive in my experience playing word chums and solitaire is exactly the same every single game! . And yet not heard anyone complain about those being repetitive
I don’t mind buying diamonds to pay to cover the cost of something which keeps me occupied for so long each week. I am not keen on the price for the new monthly passes as yet, but the option is there to buy the standard pass so will stick to that for now.
The pass provides scrolls, chick vouchers, extra bakery slots, the option for using a second booster and gives a second spin in the Valley which are good reasons to buy it. The hats I never use but others like them so it’s good everyone gets something they like. As for repeating the items we need to remember the new players may not have the previous decos or hats.
End of rant !

How I do it and always did it, I start the farm pass and as after the first or second daily task it prompted me with the option to purchase the pass. This time it did just that but with the $11.99 option only. This, I believe, is not cool and I would like to see this changed. Asking my fellow hoodies, I was told I would have to go to the purchase tab and from there I could pick with farm pass I like to get. This is my feedback to this Beta run - make the different farm pass payment options available from the farm pass play begin. (I hope that makes sense?)
Also, just to double check, if I am diligent and finish all the tasks, daily and weekly, I should not be forced to have to get the diamond tasks in order to reach the $11.99 end goal, correct?

oh, one more question - the 50 extra slots we will reach within the extended farm pass, those last until the end of that month. What happens with the 50 items in those extra slots if we do not spend the $12 for the following month?

I am thinking this is now the norm and to better wait for the eggpress from now on. :-S IIRC, I read about the Personal Train bug here and in Hay Day Reddit around Halloween and then experienced it a week or two later. Since I already maxed out my PT, I know it will be ready for pickup in 1.5 hours. Imagine my confusion when I used my PT in the morning to pick up Townies, bring them back to my Town, and serve them and it's still in maintenance when I logged in at night.
Initially, I thought I was losing my mind so thank you Team Hay Day for your incompetence at squashing bugs in your game in a timely manner and trying to gaslight me!

This is to create revenue in a guaranteed way. Regardless of bugs, if SC waited and waited to fix all the bugs they would be passing up an opportunity to gain revenue. “Farm pass beta”. Why wait and figure it all out, still collect the money, let the real players identify the bugs, make it easier on SC. You technically are paying the game, (time, diamonds, coins), to find THEIR mistakes. Your reward is 10 magical diamonds that arrive via a beautiful wrapped gift box. My personal train has been in maintenance for ten hours now....and I didn't get any diamonds. When I was in discussion SC re the train bug, after saying it was my device they eventually agreed it was a bug and that it would be fixed soon. I should watch social media for details - I don’t have social media accounts. No diamonds but they sent me a booster. For me the PT problem arrived with the update. |

May I add.... I don't intend to put "salt in wounds" but of course I have always the same respectively the similar discussion twice. The German HayDay forum is filled with complaints with unresolved bugs as well. Since I am also a town- enthusiast like lynnk2021 it'd drive me nuts if the PT would be affected as it is for many players. Since my play-style is mostly focussed on the town as well I think I'd quit playing for some time if I had the problem. All arguments given are valid but SC is playing too much with the players patience. Especially from those who are loyal to the game for many years. If you put all things together....non resolved, annoying bugs, a "reward" for some problems which don't deserve to be named as "reward" (10 diamonds), the new offered Beta-Farmpass with it's shortcomings...you could easily get the impression that we are Guinea pigs and as long we are paying Team HayDay has not a reason to be focussed for fixing them as they should. Instead they are focussed on other things. That's bad for the long run. It's the players who are among other things responsible that HayDay still exists. Only my 2 c. BTW, I still do love HayDay, but this will not last forever. |

I had the same experience – no option to pay just the $4.99. And I'm also wondering if I can reach the end goal without buying extra tasks. I noticed something "peculiar" which might help you if your farm works like mine. When I'm in the Farm Pass screen, in the Pass Road section, if I tap on a round reward (e.g. extra truck help) I get a popup to get all passes for $11.99. Now, if I tap on a square reward (e.g. vouchers or permits) I get the screen with the option to purchase individual passes, including the first Farm Pass for $4.99. Does it help? Certainly not very user friendly, unless of course SC wants to "encourage" us to buy all passes for $11.99  |
