I see a lot mid lvl50 farms in the RSS, all with five digits names. Two digits, a space and another three digits. All sell 🌽 and wheat for one coin. All have 200+ followers.
I noticed that today, after a long period without those farms in the RSS.

Some follow themselves I even seen whole hoods filled with these , also one option is they sell tools that all seem to seek cause of the limitations who knows

I won’t buy from a suspicious farm and I certainly would not follow them. If you happen upon one of those farms and there are tools or EMs for sale resist the urge to buy or follow.
I will gladly pay full price for crops to a RL farmer than anything that looks like a bot farm.

I won’t buy from a suspicious farm and I certainly would not follow them. If you happen upon one of those farms and there are tools or EMs for sale resist the urge to buy or follow. I will gladly pay full price for crops to a RL farmer than anything that looks like a bot farm. Compared to the millions (I hope) of Hay Day players, very few players know about bots and theft of intellectual property until they learned about them after joining social media channels such as Facebook, Reddit, and the forums. For example, IIRC, when I was a first or second year player before reading the Supercell forums, I didn't know I was following bots and buying from them. I didn't know better and thought players were selling EMs at 1 coin because they wanted to help newbie farmers. I didn't realize I had stumbled onto transactions between impatient players who spent real monies to buy EMs from other players using bots to harvest and sell Supercell's intellectual property. Luckily, I found the Supercell forums, learned about bots, and stopped buying from them before Psychic Octopus would've found me. ==Lynn== |

Too bad we don't have a big red button to report those bot farms to sc.Bot activity was close to nothing after the recent purge (for me at least), but now they seem to be coming back... |

...Since they finally blocked the 2 bots that would come and raid your RSS there’s really not that much risk anymore imho. I realize it’s an unpopular opinion but I have a far more relaxed attitude about them these days than I used to. I must be blessed because the Pandora, Lucifer, and Medusa bots never visited me. I think I should've have listened to Hay Day Community Manager *Frisco when he said, "...And we want you to focus on your farms, on having fun, taking care of your animals, your town, your fishing area. Leave the bots to us. We will take care of them..." in an official video published by Supercell on June 30, 2017.
In retrospect, I was too emotionally invested in HD at the time and should've known that Team Hay Day are and have been more motivated than me to mitigate the bot infestation because their presence affect the lifespan of HD and thus the developers' livelihoods and their ability to support their families.

P.S. *Frisco was filling in for Nick who was on leave from work, IIRC. It has been a while since we see Nick and Frisco on camera so I hope they're doing well. Maybe Team Hay Day decided that since Camilla is so delightful onscreen as a solo performer, Nick and Frisco aren't needed so they may focus their resources on their CM duties.

lynnk2021 hopefully Nick is busy enjoying himself on his rather nice boat I’m guessing he bought himself judging from his Instagram.
Well done, robin. I didn't know Nick has Instagram. IIRC, you're the one who informed us about his blog post in Medium many years ago in the Supercell forums. His boat looks sleek like his facial hair.
BTW, per his gram account, he visited Shanghai, the Paris of the East in 2019. Great timing considering what did happen from December 2019 to early January 2020. And I picked a great time to start watching NHK World Japan.

I watched a couple of those farms today to see how their trades are being done. Couple of farms had over 1000 followers. There must be a surplus of panels nowadays, cause they didn’t even sell on those farms. The planks however were snatched within a second after being in the RSS.
