I'm reading the HD Reddit and several players are reporting they completed 2 puzzle boats but the ones after them don't offer puzzles.
A quick check of HD Twitter shows the following tweet published about 2 hours ago,

Just sent my second boat off for today and next boat is not puzzle boat. Shame.

No puzzle piece boats for my game after the first. I did contact the help like above, they replied saying they are working on it and we will get compensated for it.

I’m leaving mine matey. I just let help know so they knew my farm was one effected. If the next one comes in and it has a puzzle piece I’ll do but I’m not calling them in early to find out. I’ll be happy with compensation they give. ❤️

I think some of the puzzle boats may be the “regular scheduled” puzzle boats.

I did the fourth boat with the missing PP and have just sent it on but the fifth boat is still missing a PP after the maintenance break.

I used a booster for this event. So did I, plus I hired Tom, and filled my machines with stuff I didn’t need before noticing the boats weren’t puzzle boats. And maintenance just happened right when my last Tom trip was due so I missed that as well. i just don’t understand why, after 10 years, SC hasn’t figured out how to do updates without glitches. I know the answer though |

I also got 3 pieces as compensation for completing 2 boats during event. Since I didn't spend time working on third boat, I consider it fair compensation despite missing the chance to do 5 boats for 5 puzzle pieces.
