After my timer reset I only got 9 plus what was on the board. I did get the very rare feeding for 500. And 5 100 easy ones it’s not the first time Iv had a difference. When the update for watching movies happened I ask my neighbor if she had the timer thing to watch movies as they must have left it out. She had it all was running smoothly. Funny thing was all my slots were on the quicker time. After the next maintenance timer appeared. Today was the best day for me with points

I'm pleased to be able to say that I've completed the Oktoberfest event, at last. As others have observed, it's not been easy. For me it's meant changing radically my way of farming. Today I was blessed with a 500-prezel task for feeding 5 sanctuary animals (easy, as I always keep them awake but hungry), and a 500-prezel task for waking 5 sanctuary animals (I woke up the 5 I'd just fed). I hope everyone else gets high-value tasks to help them finish. Here's my Oktoberfest celebration:  |

Today I was blessed with a 500-prezel task for feeding 5 sanctuary animals (easy, as I always keep them awake but hungry), and a 500-prezel task for waking 5 sanctuary animals (I woke up the 5 I'd just fed). Congratulations!  Well, my decision not to have sanctuary animals hit me hard this time 🤣. Not something that can be solved in a short time though. 11500 threshold is reachable, and with some luck, maybe 13000 at the end of event. In summary about daily quota, if I follow correctly (updated after checking screenshots) Day 1: 10 tasks Day 2 to 6: 15 tasks Day 7 and 8: 20 tasks Day 9 (extra day): probably 20 tasks. Ongoing task when new task set kicks in is counted in the new daily quota task. I think given both the 20 tasks today - and maybe tomorrow- and that I have gotten a couple easy tasks, feed 30 chickens for 300 pretzels, for example, both of my farms may yet complete the event. Or shall I call it the torturous and mysterious competition? 😂
My baby farm is still nearly 900 points ahead of my main farm, I think because I didn’t start the event on that farm until I read this thread and so approached it differently. On my main farm I both trashed tasks the first day, and had a few tasks that stayed until the next day, which interfered with getting the full allotment of new tasks.
I will be interested to know if those who are trashing tasks will be able to finish without buying extra tasks. Thanks, Frog, for your diamond cost schedule!
And continued good luck to all who have been sucked into this! 😍

That’s some piece of hard work and dedication.
I’m still working on it. Nice that there are more tasks towards the end but it sure makes one unbalanced event.
What if for whatever reason you don’t have the time to play as much these 2 days or suddenly weren't feeling well or whatever. How’s that going to help you then 🤷🏼♀️

(Ex: 3 jams for 100 pretzels/points). Today, we have 20 tasks. I imagine as well for tomorrow. The tasks are doable and for more points. The longest task I had so far today, was to make 3 necklaces for 360 points/pretzels. I also got feed 5 sanctuary animals for 500 points.

I never had puzlle piece on my farms, not in valley shop, not in Boat, not on wheel, right now I have 5x nails at 11500 pretzels mark. In the town, I have not repair the Sanctuary book stand. It was an oversight in the beginning,then when I realized I wouldn't be bothered with puzzle,I never look back.  |

The news regarding the mooncake-event is not an official announcement at the part of SC. Due to that I urge you to treat the information as that what it is...only a hint for an upcoming event. SyromerB is nevertheless an official youtuber, but he talks a lot and the information given is not always that substantial. I recommend to take it with caution. 😘🙂❤️

I think the players that quit doing the Octoberfest event, should make a run for it. I think SC heard us loud and clear, about the tasks being really long and for few pretzels/points. (Ex: 3 jams for 100 pretzels/points). Today, we have 20 tasks. I imagine as well for tomorrow. The tasks are doable and for more points. The longest task I had so far today, was to make 3 necklaces for 360 points/pretzels. I also got feed 5 sanctuary animals for 500 points. Sadly, not everyone is so fortunate although maybe tomorrow it’ll pick up. For example: Right now I’m doing the 450 pretzels cow task. I did the 250 pretzels task earlier. The rest of the board (pretzels) is 30, 60, 80, 90 and 110. So not great. Still 10 away from the pig. But I will get the pig.😊 |

Mine haven’t changed. I have some very long ones, including 3 lollipops and 3 canned fish—as well as 4 silver bars and 4 refined coal for low points. |

I’m asking because other games allow you to extend events but you have to pay for it; usually with money, not in-game currency. That said, I think I remember that SC has previously added time to an event. What or when I can’t remember but it seems familiar… |

I have three tasks finishing up, one which will carry over again. I trashed one or two impossible ones. But I don’t think I have done 15 others today? There were a few quick ones, but many 60, 80, 100 points. I’ll still need decent tasks tomorrow to get to the goal.
If they want to extend the time for others who had previously given up, I wouldn’t be opposed to that, but I’ll be glad when I’m done (as long as I am able to ultimately complete it).
I wonder whether it was their intention from the start to do the 10, 15 and 20 tasks so people would have to do most of them and pace themselves to stay engaged all week, or to get people to spend diamonds worrying we’d run out of time. Or, have they been increasing the quotas based on how upset people got as we went along. ?
Either way, I’m glad they added more.

I do give them credit for listening and reacting. I don’t think it was planned to add the task counts.
I assume it was Chris who fed back the dissatisfaction of multiple social channels and credit to him, and to supercell, for reacting!
