What will this event be?, special prizes for completing a boat?, any guesses?
And how long will the event last?, the dashboard says Sat - Sun, but News in my game says Saturday to Tuesday

My wildest guess about the boat event is that it will last until Tuesday, and then we’ll get the update?!? A girl can wish, right?
I think maybe special prizes too.

Definitely a special deco. I'd love it to be the disco sheep but that one is sooooo good that it’ll almost certainly be the big diamond package item. I think it’ll be something cool tho!

My guess is that since the actual birthday of Hay Day is the 21st, there has to be more than the 2 days of boats. If the disco decorations are all purchased items, than we may be disappointed with the boats rewards. A closer look at the Pic of the boat event shows a flower patch with butterfly balloons. I believe that this will be our boat rewards. I hope I'm wrong. I would like the chance to win at least one of the disco decorations.

I agree with you. I also don't think that the reward is satisfactory, although it depends on everyone of course. Boat orders aren't my favorite task too, so I'm really considering whether I should do it or not. I think, I won't. The rewards from boat orders are generally lousy, in my opinion, so I will let it be. But I hope for you all, that your're getting a nice prize for your efforts.  |

I don’t have those ones, but I do have the orangey-purple pastel ones with the bow on the bottom. The butterfly ones must have been during my time away so I’d like to get them.
Even still, I’d be surprised if they were the grand prize. My guess is something better than that for the birthday boat prize, like an awesome cake or something. And maybe we get the butterfly balloons as a gift from Greg's bday calendar. Hopefully anyway!

Oh dear, yes that is disappointing! I didnât see the right Twitter pic, I was think it was maybe the balloon set peeping out from being the diamond package tweet.
Maybe they look better in person but from that small pic above and the blurry expansion of it, they donât look amazing ... they look kind of creepy even. Iâve just lost all my enthusiasm for the boat event if thatâs really the big 'grand' prize. Iâd rather have 10 diamonds.

One thing I'm loving on JHD is the Dashboard - that tends to be my "go to place" when I log on to the forum. On there we can see the Twitter feed, and that is showing the event details, with a clear picture of the balloon flower bed that is the prize. I have already got one of those on my main farm, but I'll be happy to have another. I recall wanting more than one when I got the first. |

As some farmers previously wrote, you can get those items more easily if you are only playing on your farm, without giving away valuable products for a boat order.
On the other hand those boat events are the possibility to get vouchers. I think that especially the smaller levels will use it. I also did, but I quit it a long time ago. A full developed town is more efficient. And I'm not looking for vouchers. But I can understand that some farmers do so.

Lamest of the laaaaaaaame prizes ever! A better prize would have been literally anything. But that said I’m doing the event. Just back to hay day after a long hiatus and barns are packed so this will help empty them enough to where I can start to organize them again. But don’t care if we win the prize and I won’t be calling boats like crazy which was my original plan. At least my Saturday has freed up. Cowslips I agree, the dashboard on this site is amazing. |

This birthday event is disappointing. Not only is the reward unworthy of the effort, but all the hype that Hay Day put into the "celebration" has been a complete let down so far.

I was hoping some deco for the threshold prizes. But it’s not to be, so far.
I have gotten a bolt a 4 sticks of dynamite.
I’ll do the event so that those that do not yet have the butterfly balloon deco has an opportunity to get it.

Disappointed that the promoted disco decos are only for diamond purchases and the cake which is usually a free gift is now on the paid for farm pass. We usually have something in the theme for a free prize or gift.  Oh well, hopefully they will be available again in the future. |

@all Yes, I also hope that the prizes in the future will be better. No need to fill expensive crates for a reward I would never use in my farm. But luckily tastes are different. So, if someone likes the prize he will do so. And I hope that the event goal can be accomplished. |
