Thanks JDog Could it be the change in colors, the design, the smaller font of some things? I'd ask them what things in the game they are having difficulty with. The tiny numbers tracking tasks/events progress gives me a headache! (But I have some visual issues already). Some of the things that SC have mentioned in this twitter post justhayday.boards.net/post/41084/thread may also be contributing factors.

Since the update playing Hay Day is difficult especially during Derby when I am on for long periods doing tasks. For the first time since I started playing Hay Day I have needed to take Dramamine for dizziness if I play more than an hour at a time. My neighborhood players are having issues too. One says she now needs glasses to play but never had to wear her glasses before when playing. Something is definitely happening with this new update.

This is really awful and hopefully Chris [Supercell] and the team will make their planned changes sooner than later.

Since the latest update, I feel dizzy and nauseated when I move around my farm—or anyone else’s. I don’t know what the motion is called, but I’m talking about putting my finger on the screen and then moving it to get to a different area of the farm. That used to result in a smooth movement, but now it’s jerky—and it’s the jerkiness that’s making me feel sick. The faster I move, the worse the jerkiness is, and sometimes it results in everything blurring. This is a big problem for me and is limiting my game play.

I have only just logged on since the update and it is jerky and there is no smooth flow any longer. Edit - I have been doing more on my farm and the blurring is going to be a problem for me I think. After a relatively short time I have had enough and stop.

I seem to be able to move (zoom) in and out, scroll, and click around as normal on the iPad. The only thing it’s been doing for me is freezing for a while on the Home Screen before fully loading, and the music still comes in and out whenever it feels like it. That doesn’t sound like what you’re describing, though.

After playing for just a few minutes today I got a migraine, along with the same dizziness and nausea I’ve been getting since the latest update. The jerkiness and blurring when moving around the farm are literally making me sick. I used to enjoy looking around my farm and decorating it, and I was planning a major redecoration, but that’s out of the question now. I’ve reduced my game play to a minimum and may have to stop completely if this isn’t fixed. I’m on an iPad Pro. Chris [Supercell] , could you please let us know if the team is aware of this problem and working on a solution?

Dear member, I have to admit I wasn't aware of the trouble that some of you are currently undergoing respectively after the last update. 😕 Hence I am very glad to "find" this thread, thanks to LuvHayDay . 😘 I am very sorry about your suffering because I can sympathize how painful this could be in some cases. I have none of these issues. I speculate it may depend from the used device. An iPad seems to be more susceptible in some ways. If you remember...SC had really difficulties to develop the last update for iOS whereas Andriod was rolled out long ago. Perhaps there were some things which didn't fit as well as SC wanted them to be. Only speculation, I know. In the German HayDay forum are also members who complained about stuttering and lagging. In my personal opinion this is related to an older Android device with a lack of RAM and/or device storage. But I'm really astonished that so many iOS devices are affected. Something isn't right with the last update, it can't be. That's no coincidence. I cross fingers for all of you that our CM will be aware of that and pass it to the team to correct the problems. 👍😘

I am experiencing the motion sickness as well. Unlike most players it seems, the “fixer” update only got to my App Store 2 days ago. So I’m just now getting the “right hand covering the ingredients” issue and today, because I’m playing around the farm, the motion sickness jerking.
It’s really bad. Just a few seconds in, I’m nauseated and have the beginnings of a headache. I had to stop.
It seems that the animal jerking bug has spread to the rest of the farm. And while I avoid the animals by not deliberately tapping on them, I can’t do the same for the rest.
I join everyone else experiencing this, and those empathising with us, in hoping this glitch is soon cured.

About the cause, a wild guess would be related to device technology. Some iPhone can handle different refresh rate and some farms have so many resources-consuming item that the application (Hay Day) cannot display them smoothly.
If anyone with iDevice that is not affected, it would be interesting to know which models you play (if you can share).

That’s the only part we’re I have lagging. iPad 6th gen, iOS 16.4.1 on my iPhone 12 I have no issues at all with the lag, iOS 16.4.1

Since I started this thread, it seems like things are not improving. I did the update on my iPad over the weekend and now I get a headache and eye strain if I’m on for more than 5 minutes at a time. I will be sitting out the derbies until this issue gets resolved which I hope is soon. The players in my neighborhood that experienced the initial problems are telling me that things have not gotten any better for them. I’m afraid the game will start losing players permanently if this is not resolved in a timely manner.
Thanks for listening

I have the same issue on my iPad (6th gen) when I quickly pan across my farm. The refresh rate seems off. The farm looks blurry. The same issue happens when I visit other farms.
I don't notice an issue if I slowly move about my farm.
I don't notice the issue with my baby farm (Android phone).

So it’s been over a month since I started this thread and still it’s not resolved. I went into the game tonight and didn’t make it 5 minutes until I got a headache and experienced dizziness. Until it’s resolved, my playing time is very limited

It’s been very frustrating not being able to play and I’m know I’m not the only one having this problem. I used to play several hours a day during the winter months and I also was a derby player every week. Since this started I no longer participate in the derby. I also am having to limit my time to about 5 minutes a day. I go in and check if neighbors need help, release my train and then bail out. An update of any type would be nice JDog

First of all, I sensed a disturbance in the Force which led me to read a part of JHD I don't visit regularly. After reading all the posts in this thread, I'm deeply disturbed and disappointed by the response to a serious health issue by Supercell and specifically Team Hay Day. Apparently, it's a health issue caused by the March update and was reported here in April. Remarkably, the Hay Day Community Manager was paged to read this thread not by a member but a staff member of JHD. The chronic bug hasn't been squashed and the silence from Hay Day is deafening, IMO. How far has Hay Day fallen when it once had a sterling reputation for addressing bugs! Sadly for us, those days are now memories. For those players who don't remember, when the Derby was introduced, players posted to the now defunct Supercell forums they were getting headaches from seeing the bouncing derby board. IIRC, within less than 24 hours, HD CM Nick acknowledged publicly the team was aware of the issue and will investigate it. A few days later, Team HD released a patch and fixed the bouncing derby board. Let's compare Hay Day's current response to Clash of Clan's (CoC) when Clash released an update aka Builder Base v2.0 last Monday and many players experienced chronic crashes. Within less than 12 hours on CoC Reddit, CM Darian publicly informed us Team CoC identified the triggers causing the crashes and were working on an update to fix it. Then 12 hours later, Team CoC released a patch which fixed chronic crashes for many players including me. Moreover, when a player speculated Team CoC "don't do much regression testing," Darian responded with the following. www.reddit.com/r/ClashOfClans/comments/13j9r0y/comment/jkh5hot/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3Thank you Sensei. Now I understand bugs are inevitable and all the developers can do is to squash them as quickly as they're found which is reasonable to me. Team Hay Day, I don't know what's going on or your daily challenges, but I'd like to suggest you meet Team CoC for guidance or coaching because you've been submitting work which is way below the high bar of excellence you set for yourselves, IMHO.
