I forgot to take a screenshot, but I just came across a farm that broke my heart. They had a bunch of horses crowded around a wall, the stables on the other side of the wall. And the horses were clearly tired and hungry but couldn't get back home. I had to remind myself the horses aren't real! But like who does that? Who else has similar situations? Please share!

I…don’t really take time to notice things like that, usually. ?

I'm not a fan of the Sanctuary so I don't feed the animals and allow them to hibernate all year long. ;-)
I try to feed my pets daily.

I understand what you are feeling! when I visit a farm and the a animals are moping because they have no food, I feel badly. If someone that is on my friends list has all their animals starving I remove them from my friends. I have no problem with leaving animals asleep because you don’t want or can’t make enough feed, that’s ok, they are happily asleep, but when they are sad and starved and dragging around…I feel bad and don’t like it!! Yeah, it’s not real, but it still affects my game play!

I do find it funny when the pigs are hungry, they point to their mouths, and the goats sleep-snore like old men with their heads lolling back and i can almost hear their lips blubbering lol... But i agree, i don't like to see the horses and donkeys hanging their heads down so sadly. I remove followers not feeding since I assume they don play their farm any longer. Feeding is such an easy way to get upgrade items. And i take it way too seriously as well, but i love this game and my farm

lol, I'm glad I'm not alone! Having the farm animals hungry doesn't bother me as much because the alternative is they work all day. But having pets purposefully locked out of their homes because a wall is built around it is another level of ... something. I dunno. I mean, when I played zoo tycoon, I did block off all the zoo exits and then let the lions loose, so there's that.

Yes! Can't stand any sad tierd/hungry pet
Or the sheep left shivering when shawn 😆
Have to say the goats grinding their teeth and looking SO uncomfortable when they need milking is also fairly disconcerting 😅

Let them be fed and playing or tired and sleeping. Or at least cute, like the pigs instead of looking like they have broken necks like the goats. Why do they do that, anyway, lol.

I agree with all of you. I also dislike sad or/and hungry animals. I find it disturbing. Anyway, I'm not always in the mood to feed my animals regularly, sometimes I skip it. But to leave them sad and hungry is an absolutely NoGo.
Despite from that, watching happy animals is so cute. I love it. 😍❤️
