Hay Day says no to Night Mode for now

I can’t see how it would work with players from different time zones. I would not want it.

On the list of many things I would love to see added to hay day, that is nowhere to be found.

That sounds beautiful BauldersGate !! I would absolutely love that ! Would make the farm really magical !

They have night mode in Clash now, but they put it into a different area and it’s a bit of a different game. (Comparable to going to the valley in HD.)

Trees that glow at night?

There are trees with lights, as we currently have. There are also trees with glow worms, fireflies. Some caves have phosphorescent rocks, so the mine could glow? ? River could sparkle in the moonlight. People fish with flashlights, though I’ve heard that’s cheating if not illegal. Some fish glow in the dark. We have lanterns for buildings—cows get milked and animals fed before dawn. The windows in the house could glow, headlights on trucks. Stables and maybe some of the pet homes could glow. In addition to the lanterns, the torches and fires, too, as Bauldersgate mentioned.

Maybe someday.

I agree.  Not on my Hay Day wish list either.

However, if it is implemented one day, I think players should be able to turn it on and off.

I also think that we would see some awesome designs made by farmers who are drawn to such things.  I do enjoy visiting farms that are well designed and pleasing to the eye! 

Idk what other kind of gameplay I’d want from it. For me, it’d be a purely decorative thing. There’s already enough to do between derbies (already opt out on if I’m super busy), valley, fishing, town, trucks, boats, global events, etc, etc.


Unless, like…again, it’s a personal thing. I could imagine setting up a carnival/fair across the bridge, where I’d put all the new fair deco. (Fall/farm fair, summer fair, winter carnival….). Then we could go there to play assorted mini-games that simulate carnival games (which themselves could vary/rotate from time to time). Baseball throwing, knocking down cans, throwing a ball into a milk can, throwing darts at balloons, bowling, horse-racing (where you aim water-guns at the target), fishing pond where you fish out a duck from a group and get a choice of prize based on the marking on the bottom of the duck (S=small —mining tools, axes, common vouchers,etc), M=medium-more rare vouchers, EMs) L=large (rarer items—chick vouchers, permits, blueprints, etc).


Hmm…. It would have to be things that would be able to be used fairly regularly, though, as-in new mode of aMOOzing gameplay.


(Relevant but irrelevant side-note: So it couldn’t be like….when the Clash team developed (or had someone develop?) two “pixelated” mini arcade-like games for their 10th anniversary theme. Those must have taken quite a bit of work and time to develop. I wish they were still there to play from time to time!)


Idk, does aMOOzing game play pop any other ideas into people’s heads? For future consideration?

I would like a night mode, the options of torch lights, fire flies, a dawn/dusk sky .... of course I understand this is not doable so I am happy when the little snowflakes fall during the winter months :-)
