Thanks LynnK.
Yeah, social media accounts are becoming a plague like excess bank/store points cards used to be, lol. Sigh. People have had lots to say here. Maybe we can gather some thoughts on this thread, if it’s okay, and perhaps the team may see some. ?

Well the derby along with the town are my favorite features in HD. Absolutely love them. Is there room for improvement? Off course. On top of my wish list for the derby is a faster reshuffling of tasks. 30 minutes is a long wait in a game I play for fun and relaxation.
I'm only on social media with my business not as a private person, so once again SC will have to live happily without my two cents. I'm sure they will survive. 😂

I's a pity since contact regarding this matter is only possible via Twitter. It's comprehensible at the part of SC if they want to reach as much players as possible. We are only a little number of opinions and not every member makes his opinion public. However, I'm interested how our Community Manager ( Chris [Supercell] and Ice [Supercell]) think about it, what they recommend.

I do play the derby but only for deco, permits and puzzle pieces. If there wasn’t a need for collecting these I would have stopped long time ago with playing the derby. The other rewards are very easy to obtain for me with wheating for instance.

The same question was posted on Facebook. On the German page are already more than 250 comments. There are more possibilities than Twitter.

I wish the awards (in horseshoes) sometimes had all the decor (accidentally), including what once was ... (bone-pool, unicorn, toilet paper, Olympic track, etc.). Now (usually) you can get gnomes and new decor.

On the chance that SC comes here to look for feedback, I noticed that for 1 member opted in novice league for bunny derby, it requires the extra task to catch the 3rd bunny because 2 bunny tasks are required to catch a bunny (instead of 1 bunny task in rookie league). In the next league up (professional) the extra task is not needed to catch all 3 bunnies or reach all derby thresholds because of 7 available tasks. Just seems a little odd since I assumed novice league would be more relaxed/casual than a higher league, so not sure if this was an oversight or actually intended by SC. Reason I bring this up is just observation from playing on/off since 2014. When I first started, I remember for small hoods (1 or 2 members opted in derby), it was not possible to reach all derby thresholds even doing all 320 pt tasks including the extra task, which didn't make any sense But I took it as SC encouraging players to be part of larger hoods. Several years ago when I started up again, I noticed the derby thresholds had been tweaked for smaller hoods so reaching the last threshold(s) was/were finally possible in all leagues (but extra task required in highest 2 leagues, which made sense) so thanks for tweaking the derby thresholds back whenever that was done. Bunny derby is the newest derby type so whether or not SC intended 1-member novice league derbiers to complete 2 bunny tasks instead of 1 to catch a bunny and do the extra task to catch the last bunny, I dunno. I'm just happy to have opportunity to unlock some extra rewards and not have it be a "task-trashing" derby like it is for bingo derbies! * Edit: Wanted to add it would be nice to be able to keep the boosters we get from derby horseshoe rewards like the ones we get from the Valley instead of having them count against our booster storage

I think some types of derby are unnecessary stressful. For me it's Bingo, Blossom and Mystery. I know that this is a personal preference as other players may like them. It's not long ago when I enjoyed Bingo. Of course there were difficult and challenging tasks but currently there are mostly (!) long lasting and unwanted tasks in the Bingo rows. Additional it's very, very laborious to complete a Bingo row because the needed task doesn't show up for a long time, if at all. Instead many tasks appear which don't fit the chosen Bingo row and/or they are <320. Very annoying. The amount of unwanted and deleted tasks is way to much. I'd appreciate it if SC would be able to balance this a little bit more. Second wish on my part would be to replace the ****** gnomes. They are not nice, they are not rare, they are a pain in the a**! Please, please, I'm begging to change those "rewards". They don't deserve the name " reward" for me it sounds meanwhile more like punishment. I'm doing derbys mainly for permits. Also for relaxing and to replenish sometimes my crops. As the named derbies don't suit me I skip them every time when they appear.

I do all the derbies… mostly for the permits. Most of the time, I find the reward prizes unappealing. The rewards for finishing top 3 is a joke. (Ex: axes, saws, stakes, mallets, etc.) As mentioned, we can get the equivalent by « wheating ». In sports competition, usually the top 3 get medals, trophies, etc for their accomplishment. I think teams that finish top 3, should get something « special ». Here’s a few suggestions: permits, puzzle pieces, fences, paths, past decorations that came with the 130 diamond packages. Maybe have the option of choosing 3 items among 9 rewards (a bit like the other rewards at different thresholds.
Bingo derby, make it possible to get all tasks (320 pts) on bingo card. Sometimes I have to wait until Sunday evening to pick the task and it’s not even 320 pts.

My main issue with the derbies is the trouble in getting some of the bingo tasks in 320 points - or some times at all (my NH is in the Master League). We should not be worrying on the last day if we'll get the task needed to finish the squares in our chosen bingo lines - let alone start them (yes, that usually happens), nor be required to choose between doing top-scoring tasks and completing bingo lines.
