I'm writing this post because I was able to solve a bug without contacting Player Support. Yahooooooooooo!
On Sunday morning I logged into HD several times without issues. But in the evening whenever I logged into HD, the game crashed multiple times. The good news is I won't need to interact with the dreaded Supercell Automated Support in game because I can't log in to do so. I was able to play Clash of Clans and another non Supercell game without crashing, so the problem occurred when playing HD.
Before I use the Supercell webform to contact Player Support, I did the following on my Galaxy Tab A running Android 9.
1. Checked storage space to see I have 1.2 GB free. On an older device, HD would crash often when there was less than 1 GB of storage. 2. Restarted device and logged into HD but it still crashed. 3. Used app (1 Tap Cleaner) to remove accumulated cache. Less than two minutes later, 325 MB was removed. BTW, I use the 1TC several times a week because I like cleanliness. 4. Opened HD and it hasn't crashed. 5. If it had crashed, I would've uninstall and reinstall it and restart device.

I frequently have this problem (Samsung Galaxy Tab A Android 12). However, clearing cache and other "cleaning" methods using the device care app and rebooting my device don't always work for me. I usually have to do all that AND reboot my modem and router. Sometimes even after all that it isn't effective 100% of the time.
Edit- My crashing issue only happens with Hayday and no other app.

lynnk2021 Can't confirm your experience. I did the same as you and Tahoe πΎ and I have still this issue. Not very often but it happens. It doesn't bother me as it stands this can't or won't get fixed by SC I'm meanwhile getting used to it. My device: Samsung Galaxy Tablet S7+/Android 12 currently

Well, thanks for posting about this issue. I had been considering the purchase of a Samsung Galaxy A8 tablet. But think perhaps itβs not a good idea, since I have no problems with the apple iPad

Iβm wondering if there are still ongoing issues with HayDay on Samsung tablet?? Any comments would be appreciated.
I just purchased a Samsung tablet A8 run my Hay Day game. iPad is spendy (as are all new Apple products) . So if the less expensive option works well, Iβm all for saving a few bucks.
Other pluses for me are: Samsung tablet weighs a little less and it comes with its own cover.

Dear π» Farmgirl π©βπΎ I possess a Samsung Galaxy tablet S7+. The only issues are a re-load at times und on rare occasions it takes some time if switching from main farm to baby and vice versa. But there is no pattern, it's gonna happen randomly. I don't think it's my tablet but rather a temporary server issue at that moment. I do speculate this as my internet connection is fine and my tablet is very fast. In my opinion HayDay runs very well on Samsung devices. Exception....very old ones.

Currently, I'm experiencing chronic crashes while playing a non Supercell game, but I experienced no crashes while playing Hay Day.
After I cleared cache and restarted my Android device, the crashes stopped for the non Supercell game.
