Hi farmers,
So, we have a new "crop" clay, and today "all crops are harvested x 3" EXCEPT clay!!
Can anyone explain this? Is it a bug/glitch?

happyfields To answer your question, yes, it seems to be a bug. Or, I'm speculating now, it's deliberately. If the machine would be functional (the most of them are not) the amount of clay would be doubled. Can someone confirm this who actually has the "Pottery Studio" up and running?

Most likely this is a glitch because it is a new crop. I have the pottery studio up and running, and had 9 plots planted last night. It only yielded 18 this morning. At least the products take a long time to produce.

Thanks for the replies. Looks like it's been fixed as I planted 6 clay a couple of hours ago and have just harvested 18.
I still find it weird that you grow clay!

Thanks for your confirmation. Yes, it's weird but many things in HayDay are not logical. I smile about it as some are funny. For example to get bacon from the pigs.  |

I’m glad to be reminded of the “bacon from pigs” in the game. It made me laugh out loud when I first started playing, thinking it was such a clever way to deal with that aspect of farm life. It’s one of the clever things I take for granted - unless reminded. And in the context of growing clay it’s perfect. Thanks, donkeyfan! |

It is a crop that you plant and harvest same as any other and is available at lv 94 |

Welcome to JHD forum. 
Additional to BauldersGate hint, it's the last "crop" in the row, you have to rotate, and in the beginning only 3 of them will be available. It takes some time to harvest an acceptable amount of them. The time for harvesting is 1 hour 50 minutes. |

Adding to the comments above, clay (being a "crop") is stored in your silo. The items made from it go into your barn, as you would expect. |

I keep around 80 clay and keep all pottery slots running. I get lots of boat crates and truck orders asking for the pottery. Have not had requests for clay itself yet but I'm sure that will happen down the line. Boat crates at level 117 are 3 to 4 crates of 3 items each for all pottery. So it's good to keep at least 12 of each item as it takes a long time to produce the stuff.

At first, before we could produce as the factory took 4 days, my townies were going crazy for pottery!, now, they occasionally ask for it lol. Oh well. I have stacked piles by machine and will forget it until my pile gets low lol.

Wow! I would have had 4 crates if not for booster. So from 117 to 214 it's the same.
