One thing I see frequently on group walls is ... ... how do I earn coins quickly ...how can I get expansion tools ...what are the best products to make and sell ...etc!
So, I thought why not ask the experts! Please share your knowledge, experience, pro and con in order to help newbies love this game more.

EM’s: via trading, babyfarms, RSS, friends, hoodmates, trading post, harvest crops.
Coins, buy at 1 coin, sell at max coins with friends. Blanket and diamondring works fast.
Any rare product sells for max coins, but sometimes products that take short time to make sell fast and the average profit is higher. There are lists here on the forum I believe.
If you have booster for coins use them.

Plant your most expensive crop before you go to bed in as many field spots as you can.
Also fill all of your machines.
Harvest/collect everything in the morning and sell the excess at max price in your RSS.
Repeat everyday

I don't meant for ever. To resist. Only for the time being low on coins.

If you are wanting coins... ignore boats, trucks and visitors. You make more on selling for max price in shop. (Unless there is some sort of special going on)
EM- feeding pets!
To sell- crops that take a long time to grow, cheeses from the dairy, jams,... any long time item

I always find that there is no one right way to answer such questions because there isn’t just one right way to play. There are a lot of ways to play this game and there is no right and wrong. There’s just different.
It all boils down to your playing style and what is a fun way to play for you. But also how much time you’re willing to spend on the game in a day or week etc.
Coin wise selling in the shop brings the most coins unless there’s a special event. Generally I have found that the products with relatively short production times in a certain machine (so the fastest to make in a particular machine) usually generates the most amount of coins per hour. But to have that benefit you need to keep the machines running and reload a lot. During the night you want to make products that take longer and fetch a higher price per unit and want the machine to be near finished in the morning so you can switch to faster products again. For example 3 cream fetch more coins then 1 cheese. Both use 3 milk and they produce in the same time. So selling cream is more efficient if you can keep the dairy running. And during the night you probably want to make cheese or goats cheese. But also work out the milk cost.
In a lot of cases you’re also better off selling materials separately. Example a cheese cake is relatively low coins per hour. You could make cakes which pay much more like red berry but there is an ax and saw danger. Furthermore cheese cake requires a cheese and cookie. You could’ve sold 3 cream for that 1 cheese you use, a boat load of bread for that 1 cookie and sold that sugar off separately as well. So all in all break each product down to what materials it uses and which other machines are tied up making that item.
For crops I’ve found that even simple crops like soy and sugarcane sell very well at full price. But again it depends on the time you have to babysit the fields. If you don’t have much time grow something until you have time again.
EM’s: play the town, use the free rose periods and rose boosters you get. She will eventually collect more in a certain time then anyone can. Wheating works use the trade thread. Buy your weakest EM whenever you can. On this aspect I must say I have always found that picking priorities helps and don’t try and do everything at once especially when the barn is still small. Early on you don’t need all that land yet, forget about it for a while but do get the fishing spots.

Trees and bushes can be a great way to earn coins however you do also need to have a source of getting enough saws and axes for cutting all those trees and bushes down eventually if you don’t want an overgrown farm of dead stuff.

On my babyiest farms when I still need coins I make cream and white sugar during the day. I turn those into cream cakes and vanilla/strawberry ice cream. White cotton on the loom, chaps on the sewing machine, roasted tomatoes on the grill and tomato juice in the juicer. Corn bread in the bread maker or regular bread if I’m going to be online for a while. Strawberry jam in the jam maker. Carrot pies in the pie maker. Those are, for me, the easiest and high profit items that don’t use axes or saws. Overnight or if I’m not going to be online for a while I change to cheeses and syrup, blue sweaters, bacon pies and hamburgers. Sell it all in the rss for a couple of weeks and it makes a lot of coin.

Keep an eye on what the upcoming events are
Save your coin boosters to use during the coin events
AND stock up on making extras of ALL items in preparation
Then when an event such as a double coin truck event hits you can activate the booster and Send, send, send
ALSO GOOD
Are the "expansion item" truck events
Take ONLY those purple tasks with gift icons, trash the rest
Then whilst you wait for yours to refill
Go farm hopping and fill other peoples purple farm expansion orders that they've marked for help.
Either use all those additional expansion materials to expand your farm or to sell for max price.

So, I thought why not ask the experts! Please share your knowledge, experience, pro and con in order to help newbies love this game more. Earn coins quicky.....plant soybeans and sell at full price. You can sell as many as you can make. I made nearly 79,000 coins in one day selling soy beans. Get expansion tools....work your town fervently ( toss the 3 building visitors and pick up all your neighbors townies and serve them) Feed your animals twice daily. Work with your hoodmates, sharing expansion tools. If you work together you can each quickly upgrade a barn silo and land. In our hood I just upgraded my barn in 3 days because we share. (In the old days you could do it in five minutes but since the limit it takes a little longer) Best products to make and sell...Sugars, honey, beeswax, fish, lobsters, feathers, cheese, bacon, butter, milk, etc, are ALWAYS are hot commodities. Avoid making and selling red hats, flower bouquets, and veggie dogs. They'll just sit in your shop. Almost any product you make will sell and at full price. Diamond rings used to be hot but the papers are flooded with them now, same with blankets.

I buy Tom for 10 days, use him for blankets and all Jewelry items. Sell the blankets when you get them and then wait for double coins on truck orders. I help anyone I can and just do the jewelry task. Also I don’t buy anything from the shops unless I have to. I was stuck at the same coin count for a long time swapping coin for coin. After I did this, within 1 month I bought the last 4 machines and still have a couple mil coins.

I am behind by five machines, and in two days will be six machines behind (thank you, Farm Pass XP!). Thanks for the tips.

Yes, this is one of the things I don't appreciate from the farmpass for a farmer with a lower level. The game balance is disrupted by leveling too fast and not being able to gather coins for the next machine in a proper way. The idea from thisistheway may be a good possibility to circumvent being stuck in the game.

I didn’t realize the struggle that the farm pass holds. I hope you find a rhythm that works for you and are able to get caught up.

Same with me. I divide my free time among a few games and can’t be online wheating, feeding pets, filling town and sending Tom all day for ten days, lol. So time is limited.
Diamonds are also limited, so getting Tom all the time is a no-go. (I haven’t even seen the free rose and earnest days in a long time, it feels like). But if I want the Tom booster at the end of the farm pass, I have to take the XP with it.
I gripe to my hoodmate every time I level up, which is usually once a month, sometimes twice in 5-6 weeks. I leave the lone XP rewards by the side of the road and come here and scratch my head as to why so many seem to want XP as FAST AS POSSIBLE. I just don’t get it, lol.
Also, it’s probably harder post-EM limit. I don’t have baby farms, but if someone had items to spare, they couldn’t give or trade a bunch at once, like previous players did to level up. (And they did so with fewer machines to get and products to make.). All the new ones added have been under level 100. The variety is nice, but things are “squishier”, lol.
I keep hoping team HD will think about adjusting something soon. Essentially in terms of the game, more is required—earlier—with less.
Added: The farm pass helps in some ways, but the XP is still an issue. I wish it could *all be obtained separately, or maybe with an option — xp or ____ item(s).
It’a also part of the reason I don’t want to wake up my pets too often. Aside from limited room for feed, while I like the items, I don’t want the XP. 😆

MommySnooks 🐯 I agree with you. As I stated earlier, the farmpass is a nice thing, but you have to be a higher level and you may not be in short supply of coins. If that applies you are able to use it nearly in every case. But the extreme extra amount of XP and therefore leveling in an imbalanced way is not well thought-out. As you said, you will be reverberated more and more as the freepaid version also offers an extra of XP. A possibility to choose would be a way to go. Hopefully SC has that in mind for the future.

I really like getting on this forum and seeing how all the farms are ran so different. I love the XP and I appreciate the coins. I buy diamonds with gift cards once a month so I don’t worry to much about how many I get in the game. It’s also the only game I play, so it’s cheap entertainment.
I dont use Rose/Ernest and actually delete or swap these boosters for other things. It would be nice if they gave us an option on the farm pass, to pick our boosters and maybe coins or XP. It would be cool to be able to sell the boosters or trade for the ones you like to keep.
I have been playing off and on 8 years, I guess everyone has to find their own way for it to be fun. I am not a fan of the derby, I play it for a while and then skip it for a while. Sometimes it’s so stressful, I don’t like the boats and only do them for an event or in the mystery derby. I like helping people though, so I am always looking at what my in game friends need and help if I can.

thisistheway Your gameplay is very similar to mine. With one exception...I rarely buy diamond gift cards. I've done so, but always in greater intervals. Derby is also not my favorite, if I like it, I do it, if not, I'll skip. Ships are mostly a NoGo for me. Instead I like serving the town, and most important helping my friends. I'm also looking regularly whether my friends need help.

Keep an eye on what the upcoming events areSave your coin boosters to use during the coin events AND stock up on making extras of ALL items in preparation Then when an event such as a double coin truck event hits you can activate the booster and Send, send, send In case you did not know, the booster bonus does not take into account the double bonus for truck order. It means, for a truck order for 100x wheat, coin bonus generated by the use of coin booster is exactly the same with or without event!!! Mind blown! However, during truck event, truck orders are more likely to give higher value, so to a degree your tip is still valid.
