A neighbor just put tape in her RSS to transfer between farms and Greg bought it!
She is reporting to SC but be careful

MarySCI have a question. Did I get this right? Greg bought the item shortly after your neighbor put it in the RSS? Normally this happens some days later if the item could not be sold.

It's been the case for a while that Greg and Tom buy expansion materials much quicker than other items.
I usually leave out something I don't want - such as cloche hats - and one of them buys one crate after around 24 hours. That's a safeguard so that new players who fill their rss with items no-one wants don't get stuck for ever. However, if you put out EMs one of the boys will buy them quickly.

It was immediately after. She went right to the other farm to buy the EM. This used to happen years ago but it was fixed. I’m thinking the update unfixed it. |

Lemme guess, that baby farm has been inactive for quite some time or haven't sold anything in a looong time?
Greg probably was just happy to help farmer making coin. There are a few triggers Greg/ Tom buying other than "staying too long in the RSS".
To avoid this in the future, you could always start to fill a few crates with wheat (any common item) at default or minimum price to attract these buyers.

Lemme guess, that baby farm has been inactive for quite some time or haven't sold anything in a looong time? No, not the case, it’s a regularly used mini that was even in the last derby. EM is moved out daily. |
