Can you finish a power derby fishing task in one go and if so, how?
I did one round with all red lures and still had 8 pounds to go to get to 60 pounds. Now I have done 2 more ready spots and I still have .2 to go🤦♀️

Red Lure, aim for Sockeye Salmon , its weight is ~3 kg/lbs.

Yes I do it in one round every time. Catching the salmon is a useful hayday skill to learn.
How to catch the salmon with the worm lure: when a fish bites immediately try to pull it outside the circle. A non salmon will dart around or move quickly. A salmon looks like you are dragging it through mud it moves slowly and less jerky. Takes a little practice but one can be caught every single time on every singe fishing hole.

Good luck LUCY - ALL THE LITTLE SQUIDS Well, I tried, (8 times so far) but failed to catch any sockeye salmons. I have only tried during the fishing event, should it work during the event? I don’t know what I am doing wrong. Previously, I was able to catch them in some fishing spots, but never in other spots (for example never in front of the fishing hut). I obviously need more practice, but with lots of fishing nets required to earn fuel for the valley, I rarely fish these days. |

The probability to catch certain fish changes during fishing event (to let people catch event fishes). Maybe you could try again later?
