Hallo, Can you please create some feature where we can lock the original trees so we can not cut it down accidentally? I want to keep the original tree (not fruit tree) because I loved to see trees covered in snow during winter or changing colors during fall. Yes I can buy trees to replace the obe that I accidentally cut, but it didnt change color nor covered in snow, so it look plastic. Please, add this feature.

There have been many people who wanted a feature like this. Hopefully someday. Or at least a confirmation to remove the tree, so it's not accidentally done.

Ack to RescueSquad15. (RS 15)🪓. This is a feature which is also often discussed in the German HayDay forum I'm participating. But until now no final solution on the part of SC. Hope is the only thing which remains.

Hope is the only thing which remains. Maybe, SC think this is a minority request, consider majority user like to chop/cut the original trees. While we who likes to see the a greener farm, and more natural look are not really important as to others.

Maybe we should create a pool, so SC can see how many people want this feature to be implemented

Maybe we should create a pool, so SC can see how many people want this feature to be implemented How would you like to implement this? A special thread with a request to "save" the original trees? At least with a warning before cutting them by mistake? I've made this suggestion in the the German HayDay forum by adressing this issue to the community manager who is responsible to pass those requests to the SC team. But this was some time ago and nothing happened. To make things worse the JHD forum is not officially supported by SC. And it's questionable whether they read about this matter. And if they do it's doubtful whether they would change anything. Please don't get me wrong. I appreciate your suggestion because I also like the original trees. And I'm always annoyed by cutting them by accident. However I think this has no priority on the part of Supercell. Sadly....

And I'm always annoyed by cutting them by accident. However I think this has no priority on the part of Supercell. Sadly.... This has been a bone of contention for years, and has been discussed on the official Supercell Forum on numerous occasions, so I'm sure that SC are aware of the issue. Some time ago they did introduce trees with coloured leaves, which went some way to offering a replacement for the autumn trees, but they have not offered snowy/frosty ones, ones with pumpkin lanterns or anything else that is seasonal. When I first started playing I did what many do - cleared my land of original trees, bushes, pools and rocks. I even used Tom to fetch the materials for me to do that. As more land was opened up I took a different viewpoint, and kept those items unless they were a problem. Sometimes they are just in the way though, so I do remove them then. I also have the occasional attack of "sausage fingers"; I accidentally chopped a tree down on the latest land release within days of it becoming available! All of this would be easier if we were able to buy seasonal trees; I'd happily pay a premium for ones that changed with the seasons. I will raise this point directly with Supercell, to remind them that some players would like an option that safeguards original trees, rocks, etc. At least a double-tap would help!

I would also pay for seasonal trees 🌲 I doubt I’d be able to afford to. It just doesn’t seem right to have to pay for something you had but removed accidentally because there wasn’t a confirmation. They do that for spending diamonds now, so I would think they can add it for trees and rocks, etc. as well. It just baffles me as to why they haven’t. Adding the option to purchase would help those who’ve cleared them accidentally and can afford to replace them, but let’s also prevent it from occurring where we can. First: LET PEOPLE KNOW THE TREES CHANGE WITH THE SEASONS so they can make an “informed decision” about the removal, instead of finding out after it’s too late. Second, add a confirmation. (1 & 2 can be combined.) Then third, add them as reward decos and/or for purchase for people who found out after the fact or who just changed their minds, etc. (I’d like a snowy tree better than the purple ones with lights, in terms of deco, for example.).

I would also pay for seasonal trees 🌲 I would also love to see decorations which change with the seasons. not just a tree, but a statue for example, which will be snow covered during winter, or the pool, with a winter cover on it.

YES!
Wholeheartedly yes.
I've cut down several by accident.
The last was due to a cracked phone screen and was a tree i had intentionally kept for the entire life of my farm, 7 odd years.
I went crying straight to Hay day help over that one but not only couldn't it be restored, the overly cheery way the Hay day team always talk just peed me off more.
Not a good farming day that one.

BauldersGateI'm so sorry about that. Believe me, I know how that feels. Extremely annoying. And I'm sure it wouldn't be a great thing for SC to introduce a safeguard for this. Would be so appreciated.

How about automatically gradually trees self seeding nearby?
Yes forest self seeds slowly randomly around the edges, any fruit trees left un-harvested for 100 days start self seeding.
Abandoned farms get overgrown.
Add a function to Maggie to service the truck (before it goes rusty), repaint the house, repair the road side shop.
