I am not to impressed by the rewards in the new farm pass that just has been announced. Some deco but a lot of boosters......, your opinion?

Wait, weren't those fishes just in this last farm pass? I'll probably get it as I usually do, even though there are only a few things I want (rose/ernie, diamonds, some deco).

Yes they were, also the ship in the sand was offered not long ago.
I have a feed sheep 45x task in my farmpass. Luckily the booster with Rose works for the counts, so she can collect them and I will get the count for it.

My slight annoyance is that - for me, at least - there are panels on the path once again.
They seem to be one expansion item that is readily available in the Daily Dirt, suggesting that the balance throughout the game is a little skewed at the moment.
My main farm is a "wood" farm, raining planks, panels and mallets, hence my frustration!

All my farms are wood farms also, I do have some tapes as reward in the farm pass, anyway I bought it again. The extra spins on WOF are nice to have, more chances on railtracks.

I just checked it. Nothing interesting. And again a custom deco I've already plenty. But I do not give up hope that some time I will get the base deco for the kois.  |

I’ve got it because I love the boat deco. I seem to be an Axe farm and town. Planks I get the least of ☹️

I make a special corner for you one day on my farm with the koi deco, you can come over anytime, no fee asked. |

I'm not in the mood to waste vouchers and coins for something I can spare. I was in the same position and found a pretty easy way to get lots of custom decorations. What we did (as a 2-person hood) was create a second neighborhood and stuck one of our baby farms in it. Then our main farms would join the second hood and get 1st place easily because we were in lower leagues. The main neighborhood would be left in champions league derby with the other baby farm and get demoted every week until it reached the rookie league. Then we would switch our main farms back to the main neighborhood (again leaving a baby farm in the second hood), and repeat the process. All that matters for getting a custom decoration is placing top 3 in any league of the derby. Yes, you'll miss out on the better rewards from higher leagues, but you can get all the custom decorations you want. I have around 25 custom decorations now with I think 6 of the stonemason (base deco for the koi). I hope I'm not violating forum rules by posting how to cheat (I view this more as exploiting long-standing game mechanics), but if I did, I'm sorry and this can be deleted. |

If only it was that simple to get a custom decoration! It's not guaranteed that you will get one for coming 1st, 2nd or 3rd. On numerous occasions my hood has placed but none of us received a deco. From what others have posted over the months it seems that some farms get the custom decos much more easily than others. My main farm now has several, but almost all are from purchasing the farm pass. |

Hallo samdas, that's very creative. But as you stated, I'm also not sure whether this course of action violates some rules. I think not, but I hesitate to do so until someone has proper informations. Hey Cowslips Thank you for your additional thoughts regarding this matter. You're right. Even if you achieve one of the first 3 places it isn't sure to get the desired deco. But chances are better, I think. |

Cowslips I didn't think it was cheating, just wanted make sure I'm not banned from the new forum lol. Good point about top 3 not being a guaranteed custom decoration, I forgot to mention that! donkeyfanI don't believe SC views this as cheating if that's what you're referring to. We did this for months and neither person ever got a warning/message of any kind from SC.

I don’t think it’s not allowed. You wrote that you have about 25 decos in this way. The customizable decos were not introduced that long ago. You must have been very lucky with getting those decos placing top3. I place top3 very often, but I think 1 out of 5 times that I got a deco.

I agree with Cowslips. It's not cheating or against this forums rules to share your input on how to get a chance at better rewards. It's great that it works for you. As others have mentioned, it's not guaranteed to get the deco by placing in top 3. Out of my 3 farms, my main farm has 14 of various upgradeable deco, my two baby farms have 0. I'm OK with that though. Upgrading takes so many vouchers, coins and blueprints, that it will take almost as long to upgrade the deco as it does to unlock land.

Looking at the farm pass, I haven't seen anything that I've wanted to pay for since the Easter deco was available with the trampoline bunny and bunny ears. I'm satisfied with getting the items offered on the free path. There have been a number of times the farm pass offered paid items that have been found in other places. The last one that comes to mind (other than the fish fence) is the one with the hammock, (which was also offered in a diamond pack prior) and is now offered free in the land expansion area on the lower left side of road. I will get my hammock there, eventually.

I mainly buy the pass for the blueprints, scrolls and puzzle pieces available. I am underwhelmed by the valley and don’t get many there.
The perks are good too so I am okay with it. I don’t buy it for the baby farm though.
