I do remember that the farm pass has to be in place prior to the task expiring.
Please let us know if your hoodie was successful.

Momscar, even though the farm pass was in place before the task expired, the player did not get credit for the re-do.

The hoodie concerned should contact Supercell Support about this issue. That will serve to remind them that it has yet to be fixed.
When I contacted them about the same issue, they sent Alfred along with 10 diamonds as compensation. Of course, that didn't help the hood's Derby efforts, but it was better than nothing.

Added to my previous posting: I just asked my sister-in-law. The tested it recently and it worked, and the task was counted. HTH!  But irrespective of that I'm awaiting the answer in the German forum. |

I tried with my baby farm (laid back hood) = made it "derby log shared" to double-check.
1. Re-activation worked + I got 320 points + my re-activated 320 points accounted for.
2. Farm level = 60.
3. It seems that it works for some (e.g., donkeyfan's sister-in law) and it doesn't work for some. No idea why...

I'm very sad about it. I thought this glitch would have been fixed. So annoying that this isn't the case for your hoodie. Please tell her that I keep my fingers crossed and that she should be persistent regarding to support in order to get a compensation.

If it has worked at least for some, I'm thinking there are some steps that must be done in a specific order for the code to function properly. It might help your neighbor to recall as detailed as possible what was done and compare with others here. Or get specific steps from someone that has had the activation feature worked. |

It did not work for me last week or yesterday. Lost electricity both times due to squirrels getting into wires on transformers. But even though I reactivated both and finished them, no points were given. They were not counted. It was 9/10. So won't be using that reactivation feature again!

I have tested before and it worked for me. I now asked in our hood = the member says it works for him/her but the progress made was not counted = s/he had to start the task again (see the reply please). I am now testing it with a milk task and will add photos tomorrow.  |

Re-activation still works for me. I do not lose progress and get full points. Here comes photos - sorry for the spam effect in advance as I am not sure how to add photos in one single message. Before I got the 4th task (milk task which I re-activated) = I had done 3 tasks & had 918 points.  Attachments:
