Hello dear farmer!
Actually I'm wondering whether it is better to play in CL or in EL. The reason for my new thread is that I've got a feeling that the expert-league is more easy to handle than the champions-league and the rewards are better in relation, too.
The first difference is as you all know to have 1 task less. And when I remember the time when I was in the expert-league with my sister-in-law I think that the rewards after finishing were better. But I'm not sure about that.
Therefore I would be pleased to hear about your experiences so far you can rembember these. 
Perhaps I'm wrong on this case, I'm really unsure. But it would be interesting to read what you mean. I appreciate that, as always.

Rewards in numbers of an item? If you are for instance looking for tapes, and you get them than that is a reward for you, but not for somebody else that has a tape farm.
Same with, decos, scrolls etc.
What is a reward for you and when is it better?

ducktown2021 You're right, I should have been more precisely. A reward - a good one - would be for me diamonds, LEM, nails, screws and of course permits. What I don't like so much are mine tools. In my opinion I've got them very often lately.  @rbcrewser THX for your experiences and your thoughts about it. Yes, it seems so. Therefore I wrote that I'm not sure about that. That's very interesting. I can't confirm this regarding to my gameplay, but it seems for me to be quite comprehensible. If you are in the ET you get two competitions. On the one hand to stay where you are if you won't level up to the CL and on the other side to keep an eye on your gameplay in order not to drop into the PL. But if you are in CL it isn't very difficult to manage not to be on the first 3 places but to stay where you are. OK, from this point of view I have not looked at it yet. And as you statet, the 1th 2th and 3rd place isn't worth any effort. The regards are mostly out of question. See, I knew that I would get some more points to consider, it's not so easy as it seems sometimes. In this respect thank you very much for your input.

donkeyfan, Are you aware that in small derby size, extra task is needed to reach final column? Are you willing to do the diamond task?

Frog Yes, I'm aware of it. But I've only done it for one or two times, a long time ago. I try to avoid this.

This is really interesting topic donkeyfan. I will try to keep short as much as I can.
We had a hood for years but later almost all the members stopped playing due to different reasons. In that hood, we were in the CL most of the time. My memory is that it was "easier" to get better prizes, such as golden voucher.
After our group disappeared, we (a few remaining) have moved to our current hood, which is in fact for our baby farms and stayed there. Now we are in the CL: When I think about the hood where one of my baby farms currently is (another hood), I think I feel that the chances of getting permit is higher in the CL, compared to EL (permit is the most important reward for me as I am so unlucky with the valley rewards - hardly get permit, and I still have many plots unopened). The hood where my baby farm is: Purely laid back, trading & helping hood so we are doing the derbies only when we can and to the extent we can, and generally we are shifting between EL and PL. Even when we can manage to open all the columns, I hardly get permit as reward.
But this is only my experience 😊
That's why I want to stay in the CL = when I open all the land that requires permits, I don't think that I will do derbies (they are nice but I am tired + 2 members have stopped playing a few days ago mostly due to the connection problem and some disproportional aspects, so I am kind of solo with my 2 main farms... luckily they are still in the hood and at least trading & helping 😊)
