Hello farmers, I have a question. I am level 27 and I bought every machine I could buy, but I have only 2 smelters right now. Should I keep getting more coins to buy all the 5 smelters or its just fine 2 smelters for now and do track orders to gain more XP?
Thanks!!

When I was at your level I used some diamonds for additional slots on the melters. You need a lot of coins for new machines etc. The coins will come as you level up. No need to rush things.

Hi Asulin,
If I were you at level 27, I would concentrate on making coin, not gaining XP. So make things in the machines you have and sell for full price in your roadside stand. Also, donโt buy things like milk eggs and sugar, but produce them on your farm to use to make things in your machines.
Ignore trucks and boats for the time being. You will get more coin by selling what you produce in your stand.

Ack to ducktown2021 and ๐ป Farmgirl ๐ฉโ๐พNo hurry necessary. In my opinion are 2 smelters for the moment (your current level) enough. Eventually if you can spare diamonds buy 1 additional slot. Otherwise sell, sell and again sell. Coins are momentarily more valuable, XP come all by themselves.

I dont see how it can help me, because the bars are used only to be sold on track orders in this point, and you suggest not to do track orders just keep gaining coins and wait for the XP come along with it. And sometime in the future if I will use the track, there are not so much orders for those bars. So why do you buy more slots in diamonds? And what to do with my diamonds? Just save them for now?

Forget the smelters, best just to save for the next machine. To gain xp to unlock your next machine, try wheating. You'll get xp & upgrade materials. Sell your wheat full price.

Diamonds are best used for opening more slots on your machines. So you can make more products to sell.

Asulin there will be a jewelry maker and the train in town will need bars to upgrade. I have a smaller farm that is level 90 ish it only has 3 smelters, it's plenty but larger farm did help. There will be a time every other level will have a machine to buy. They get more expensive so make as many coins as possible. It's frustrating not being able to buy machines and puzzle boats ask for that product. So it's important to able to buy the machines and not level up so quickly that you have no coins.

Yes, just keep making coins. You are going to need LOTS of coins to buy machines that will become available as you level up. Each one costs more coin than the previous one. That is right, you donโt need more slots on your smelters right now, so save your diamonds. In your future Hay Day life, you will want more smelters and you will want to add slots, so that you can queue up bars in the smelter to get the ore out of your barn. I did not buy the last 3 smelters until I wanted to make bars to expand my personal train, after I opened the town. Then I only had 2 slots for each smelter. I just now added a 3rd slot for each of them (my farm is level 137) Yes, save your diamonds for now. Best use of diamonds is to add slots on your machines. I used diamonds to max out the slots on the dairy, sugar and bakery first. Maxing out the slots allows you to queue up poems, which can be making while you sleep (or otherwise have to be away from the game). Then when you come back to the game, you can collect the items and put them for sale in your stand at MAX price, of course.

Everybody has his own playing style. I used some diamonds for additional slots in the melters. When you harvest a lot of crops you will get drops. The miningtools you use in the mine for the ore. At night the period to make the different types of bars is not sufficient enough for me with just one slot open. You need a lot of bars for the train, personal train and the house. Surplus you can always sell for Max price. When I was low level that helped me a lot, instead of spending my coins on 3 additional melters. Different players, different advice and playing styles. ๐

Yes, it's all right. As ducktown2021 said, everyone has a different style to play. But regarding to the fact that the space to place machines is not luxuriant I'd recommend not to buy a third or fourth smelter but rather spend diamonds - like I earlier said when you can spare them - for the next slot on every smelter. Today I regret that I buyed all 5 smelters, 4 would have been enough, fully developed. But this are experiences you'll make later.

Two is plenty for now. Once you get your jewelry maker and you're upgrading your train you'll want to consider adding the others. I have all five smelters fully expanded and keep all five running 24/7 at level 169. Best advice is to find your own playing speed/style/comfort level. The joy of this game is it works differently for each player. You get to make it what works best for you.

I saw on a friend's farm those jewellery machines and I just dont get it, it doest worth to make those I think, he make it for track orders. And there are jewellery that you need to use diamonds to make them. Ao why people make those things? And about the smelters, if I dont make trackorders and dont have the train unlocked yet, so I just dont make bars right now yes? I will keep the bombing materials in my barn until I will need them, because if I will bomb the mine to get materials to make bars I think it will explode my barn free space :$

Explode one tool, pick up something else off another machine so your barn is full again, explode another, and so on. That way you can accumulate around 50 ore stacked at the mine, and have more useful products in your barn, with fewer mining tools in there. Once you get to around 50 you will not be able to use more tools until you take some of the ore. Using mining tools will generate up to 10 diamonds each day, so it is a good way of increasing those too. Stacking works on all machines; some players use it a lot. I hope this helps

I use Tom for any product that requires diamonds to make. I also used him to get bars when I was still leveling up my personal train.

Or you just meant about stacking ores in the mine? And about the mine, the ores will just lay there until I pick them up? And if I just click the mine without clicking the ore it will open the tools bars instead of picking up the ore? This is a lot but let me try to explain. First, the personal train is unlocked in the town, which you unlock at level 35, so you have time for that. The train uses bars made in the smelters to upgrade the passengers or maintenance between usage. Second, using diamonds for additional slots in machines is a good idea. The sugar mill, dairy , and bakery are probably the most used machines at your level. So just load up on items and sell at max price to gain coins. You can also gain coins fast buy selling crops such as soybeans, wheat, carrots. Always sell at max price. OK now for the more complicated question. Stacking is the method of keeping your barn full, while simultaneously making products from machines. The easiest way to understand this is first getting your barn full. For instance 500/500. (First 500 is the actual amount you have in barn, second 500 is how much your barn holds) . So in this example your barn is filled to the max. Once you've established a full barn, you can use a mining tool (shovel, axe, dynamite or tnt) to extract ore. But leave the ore on the screen. Grab an item from a finished product to fill your barn backup. Once barn is full again , use another mining tool to extract ore, but donโt collect ore again. Keep repeating this process and you will have a full barn of product, and ore to use later. You can leave 50 ore at the mine before you have to start collecting it. If you accidentally grab ore you can use the smelters or sell the ore in your shop. I hope I was able to help you. If you run into any problems., feel free to ask. This forum is full of knowledgeable people with plenty of game play experience. Good luck.
