Recently I opened up the final segment of land on my main farm (a massive milestone for me). Interesting that Hay Day won’t let me buy any more permits (for future land expansions) from the witches hats catalogue, but it’s saved the three permits from this week’s boat event. Presumably when there’s new land to expand I’ll be able to access the three stored ones…   |

Great work pelecatmiaow 😺! That's really a milestone! 🙂👍🪷 As for me....I think I won't live long enough to experience this. Too many lots to open, and many require a huge amount of permits. However, I can't be bothered since I know why. I am too lazy getting permits. If you do less, you'll get less. It's only fair. 😉 |

I, too, recently opened my last piece of land. I haven't found any other way to get permits besides the prizes in special events. They don't appear in the derby, the valley, the farm pass, or the WOF, and it's not possible to buy them from special event catalogs. I've only gotten them from the prizes at the end of the special events – and the last two threshold prizes in the current boat event. |

I wonder how precise they are? 🤔 could you leave one piece of land open and continue to collect the LE? This would build some storage.

I wish you the best 👌 This is a brilliant idea if, in fact, permit collection gets cut off on completion like puzzle pieces. I’ve been able to amass goodly numbers of permits when I wasn’t opening plots, but now it occurs to me that it was happening because I always leave a few plots unopened. I love the stone walls, so the unopened plots are intentional features. |

Land expansion speeded up significantly since I discovered this forum. Lots of tips and tricks I had no idea about that I discovered on here, like getting five scrolls from each of the bunny derbies, for example (with some diamond spins). It’s a nice feeling now decorating my farm with the new space ..although there’s never enough for all my deco pieces lol |

How strange that my one has no ribbon like your one … I wonder if the ribbon disappears once all the achievements are done? Who knows …
Edit: nope, that can’t be the case as I don’t have a ribbon on my baby farm one either, and I haven’t done many achievements on that one so far.

The ribbon seems to link (if you have it connected) to Google Play games or GameCenter, so if you've never tied that to your HayDay game, the ribbon will be absent. And the achievement list for GPG does not completely match the in-game Achievements. My GPG says 108/108 achievements while in-game is 150/150.

Here's how I can find the date I downloaded the game on iOS: - open the App Store app
- tap on my picture (top right corner)
- tap on "Apps"
- in the search bar, type "Hay"
- and there it is, Hay Day app with the date I downloaded the game (more than 10 years ago
 )
Note : the date is the date the app was first downloaded for this Apple account, regardless of the device. |

I went the other way: I kept accumulating permits but I haven't opened new plots for ages.
Finally two days ago when I tried to collect permits from the catalogue I got the same message as you, with a permits counter now stuck at 1286. I wonder if that's really the number of permits I would need to open all the plots I haven't touched. I could maybe calculate that using the wiki but I'm too lazy |
