Dear member,
since you know that I love Halloween 🎃 so much you will be surprised....maybe....that I give it a pass. The rewards are not that thrilling, by all means not for me. I have everything, some items multiple. Due to this my "desire" to get more of them is limited.
I also don't like this event in particular bc it's eating a lot of time and efforts and the farm comes to a virtual standstill. Ok, at the end some permits, but the way is long, and since we all know that tasks with good points are only a matter of luck and you shouldn't delete too many bad tasks bc you're lacking necessary points at the final threshold, it's not fun at all.
No, not for me this time. I rather enjoy a "normal" farmplaying. We'll, that's my personal opinion, how are you dealing with the event? 😉🎃

I am doing fine. Don’t know if I will make it to the end of the reward line for the permits. The rewards I don’t care about, at least the decos. Have them already. I did have some decent 500 points tasks, and even the low point jam jar tasks I only needed 1 jam.
I also got witch hats with the four daily rewards from movie tickets.

You always loved Halloween, I guess you will be sorry afterwards if you missed out on a wonderful deco if you had the op to get it. Thankfully we can choose to do events or not... which ever floats your boat in the moment! Lol. For me, i do like getting any free deco... If I can get my real life to cooperate, I can use them in my town or sanctuary.

It's funny how I get the best tasks when I least expect or need them!😅 I don't want the decos, but I play the event for the other rewards. I currently have over half the points needed to reach the end so most likely I'll be able to finish in time.

The others I am also not so excited about. But I play the Event. One reason is, that I can get the missing deco for the collection and get the 10 diamonds. (I am sure no reason for you because you have all of them already). But the other reason and my first thought when I read your comment was the same as Tahoe and others already said: Did you see the other funny and spooky decos in the dairy news? There are some really good decos, imo. So I try to collect as many hats as possible to have the chance and get the decos I want. And the hats in the current event, especially the first points are easy done. Getting to the end is difficult and I absolutly agree with your opinion about the event. But you should do some tasks and earn the first points. And then decide if you go further and try the others too. |

I agree that so far there is very little except the permits that I want from the current event — or the farm pass, for that matter. I may not buy even the basic farm pass this month. The stack of pumpkins way down the line in the party pass is something I would like, but I can wait for next year. I’ll be collecting witch hats to have ready in case something good shows up later this month. I’m interested to see what SC means by “refreshing” the catalog each week. Since there are no decorations showing in any of the upcoming weeks, I’m assuming 🤞🏼 that means decos prize options will be added as each week arrives. The clips in the dairy news went by so quickly that I couldn’t really see what they were. In the meantime, I’ve retired my usual cemetery planting in favor of fall colors, and dug the pig gargoyle, pig-in-a-grave, and pig-in-a-coffin out of storage to get things ready. Dibley pigs are excited! (The pig-in-a-grave is one of the all-best decor.)  |

They cataloge showed some cool new decos: Mopping Pig, Autumn Harvest Cart, Centipede Fence, Stained Glass Fence, Black Cat Fence, Dinosaur Footprint path, black roses, Lobster Ride is what I saw. The decor changes seasonally. The bulk of the Halloween celebration takes place in the party field, but since we have so much nice fall decor now, I’m try ing to make space to have Halloween AND fall. A delightful dilemma. Actually, my new favorites are the Day of the Dead decorations from last year (or maybe the year before). I would like more of those sometime in the future. The sugar skull “paths” fit perfectly on my graves. |
