I rarely fill my boat orders anymore, but when I did and needed help with a particular item, I would only advertise an item that could by made by a level that could also produce the item I'm asking help with (if that makes sense).

If I have to, I try to put out an equal quality item of what I am asking for.

I can't answer this question properly bc I rarely do boats. I dislike them as much as truck orders. IF it's gonna happen to serve one I put mostly a "non-valuable" item in my DD as in my experience interesting goods are mostly taken without help. 😕
I have no specifics what to put in the DD at that time. It's coincidence and depends from my whim. 😉

I put out full price indigo. I find it sits for quite a while until someone buys it and the boat crates get filled. I only do puzzle boats or maybe boats for a puzzle event.
