Dear member,
although being a fan from this season the current offers aren't appealing for me. Nor the deco on Gregs farm. It's astonishing because I love the autumn colors, but I pass here completely. Nevertheless I admire how players are going to create some awesome areas with those deco.
I am wondering what you are doing for this purpose. Do you change your complete farm due to the current season or have you only a little corner for this?
Personally I am satisfied with the beautiful colors of the trees, that's sufficient for me. I don't need any deco to intensify the impression. In my opinion the colors of the trees speak for itself.
Well, perhaps I am already longing to much for Halloween 🎃, and I am trying to bridge a gap until it's there ultimately. The most of you know that I am a Halloween 🎃 sucker and we also know that SC is very sloppy by offering the appropriate deco in time. In the last years Halloween was nearly over when SC decided to provide us with some deco.
Oups, sorry for offtopic, this thread is created for the autumn time. 😉🌻

Sorry for the random picture - I’m still getting the hang of uploading images! I tend to have an autumn area on my farm all year round, and don’t really decorate for Halloween specifically. I am a big fan of the autumn season on hayday and in real life - I love the mist and the colours of the leaves 🍁 🍂. I really like a lot of the deco promised in this month’s events, particularly the maple tree and the leafy path 😊

Wow, jennyanne! Your autumn area looks fabulous! The mango trees are very effective. Chili is the perfect thing to serve, and the preserve kitchen is perfect in this setting. I loved wandering around on the paths. I dumped all my autumn decor in the area that I call the party garden where I create changeable displays by season and holiday. I’ll have to take a before/after shot. Thanks for the inspiration.

I’m hoping to incorporate the maple tree and fallen leaves here somehow 🍁

Autumn colors aren't my favorites, so I don't have many autumn decorations on my farm, but here's a small area I decorated for the season. (The donkey wants a bite of the gnome's apple.)

I just saw a mystery deco package in the "giftes catalogue," and there are several new decos that I like. Unfortunately I just got a small leafy tree (which I have a lot of in storage), but there's hope for the future!

I’m with you, LuvHayDay! I got the small leafy tree the last time the 35-gift card special deco mystery package showed up. There are so many lovely decos that are available only through the catalogue. There’s a little waterwheel fountain out there that I sigh over when I see it on other farms. Also a chicken resting in an arbor that I think comes from the catalogue. I’ve wanted the little wood box that is in your screenshot for a long time. There are a couple I don’t recognize. I wish this mystery box showed up more often. I try to keep 35 cards on hand to be ready.

This is the third time in a row I've gotten the small leafy tree with the 35-card mystery deco package. Such a disappointment! Like you, I wish this box showed up more often, and I wish it didn't have the common items that have been around for years--especially the ones that are available in the store. Wouldn't it be great if all the items were ones that could only be found in the catalogue?

It would certainly get me out there to help more people which appears to be the interactive goal.

LuvHayDay Your Fall area arrangement is adorable! Like the red accents coming in. Especially the ones with the squirrels. Your donkey checking out the new area : ) With a non working farm because of our event, things have been at a stand still. Never know which machine I will need or animals to feed, then one gets bombarded with 2-3 tasks. Don't really care for this event set up ... oh well. For now, I am enjoying the Fall 🍂 🍁 🍃 decos 🍁 🍃 🍂 🍁 🍃

Thank you, sapphire! I agree with you about this event and the way it brings the farm to a standstill--and often conflicts with the Derby. I much prefer the County Fair events (if I'm remembering the name correctly), mainly because they don't tie up machines.

Some of the decor is nice but having the farm tied up like this gets tiring. I also have many, many small trees in storage!

I join you with the "complaints" about the event. The stillstand of every machine is annoying. That's something I dislike so much and is ONE reason that I mostly want to skip it. Regrettably I have sometimes to make compromises for a special cause what I don't like either.
Well, enough rant, let's get it over with. 😉
