Our valley is the same. I thought the number of chickens was being reduced after last month.

WAY too many chickens. More chickens than there are shops. I can hardly get from one shop to the next without having to stop and pick up a chicken. Our valley already has 160/100. That means that they will be nothing but an annoyance for the rest of this valley season. It’s a good thing that nothing is harmed in Hay Day and that our trucks have a safety feature that automatically stops for animals, or some of these chickens might wish they weren’t sitting in the middle of the road. We have collected more than twice the chickens needed already. It does make the whole chicken collecting even more pointless than normal. I miss the extra points from the spin wheel from the beta test. It was the best part in my opinion. Greedy me. 😎 To me the main problem with the chicken valley has always been that it is essentially boring. Unfortunately I still think it is a mindless addition to the game. In general I like the decorations but I rarely use them on my farm, since I prefer farm themed decorations.

I’d rather have too many chickens than not enough, just sayin’. 😁

On a light note, I collect chicken/road jokes. I have a new one… Why did the chewing gum cross the road? Because it was stuck to the chicken. 🐓⚠️

I agree. Given that the chickens are picked up automatically, I don't see the need for the truck to stop and pause each time. I wish they would make it so the chicken would just hop onto the truck without the truck having to stop for it.

That would be hilarious for the chickens to jump in the truck. No different than the deco...animals in hay day are very talented..haha I do think we should get a prize every time we pick up a chicken 🐔 = 🎁

Are you farmers enjoying this chicken Valley (Oct 2024)?
I bought all 36 items in catalogue, currently at 4900/6000. I'm trying not to drive around so I could do orders for the remaining 2 days. While the greater amounf of tokens is appreciated, I find myself running into "wallet full" situation way more often. Two times I cannot complete daily quest (complete order/ get tokens of specific colour) because my wallet was full and next items have not been unlocked yet.
I don't feel like we have the right balance yet.

Our valley crowd has a virtual factory farm chicken population — over 1,500 — and we haven’t wanted to stop for them since about day 3 of this season. I think a further tweak is needed. It was more interesting when there was some element of “the chase”.

We have well over 2000 chickens. I have bought everything in the catalogue that I want, including a very rare 4 land permits. I am not doing anything more.

I didn’t find gas 99%, but the extra fuel sun tasks made the daily tasks reachable. I did find chickens got annoying, having to stop and wait for animation sometimes a few times between buildings. There has to be a happy medium between driving all over creation wondering whether we’d get enough vs being overrun, lol. But valley was way less stressful overall, which I appreciate. 😊
