How certain are you that trucks no longer break? Because fix a truck quest still exists. Haven’t seen a broken truck since start valley, haven’t had broken truck since start valley. I move a lot, until wallet if full and I have all rewards from reward block. Chickens already above 1000 collected. My wallet is always full and I won’t be able to move in the valley until the next block opens in 1 day 17 hours. The only item I could buy costs 600 blue tokens. I have bought a number of things I don’t want just so I can keep moving when the wallet gets full. Silly, really, I guess? Anyway, I can’t buy this item (a boat booster I don’t need) because if I do, I can’t buy the one remaining bolt in the final block that is also what I consider “unbalanced “ - 600 blue tokens. So, this is sort of a new thing now that we get more tokens. We get so many - or at least I did - that you can’t play anymore. It doesn’t matter as we can’t finish the reward path anyway. But it does seem strange somehow. So far I haven’t had my truck break down. I hope they stick with that.

Yes, I do the same. Buy things I don’t need. Just wait for next reward block and save 1100 tokens each for deco reward in end. Only had one scroll, the other rewards are meh.

That is exactly what I am doing. I was lucky though and had two scrolls! Lots of meh stuff purchased just to keep moving the truck. It seems a little strange to give us so many more tokens, but not even a teensy tiny bit bigger wallet.

In the valley I have been collecting points. Only a few items I am am excited about. Definitely is worth the valley run. The clouds I don't like seem to be more at a distance from my truck : ) My irritating Wallet Full still continues. Today I found a new feature I have not seen before. Spinning the wheel for fuel stops at 99 and greys out. Shows low 100s. You don't lose anything. When you start moving, your earned spins return....just something new for me. Happy to build up my fuel though, have a couple of scrolls to buy 😊 My fuel count briefly showed 103, then quickly changed to 99. I then used 2 fuel and it read 97. Used 2 more fuel, it read 95 and so on. It did not credit back my fuel over 99 (same as the previous valley).

Yes, also less scrolls. Got 2, but we also only have 6 reward blocks, so the half the valley period also results in less reward blocks and so less possibilities for scrolls etc. That’s the downside of a shorter valley period. No scrolls at all for me - that could be because I have some in storage as I have opened all my land. Supercell seem to have missed adjusting the prizes for daily quests, as the path goes on for much longer than the 13 days we have left. I love the faster truck. I can't quantify it, but it feels as though I can see a little bit further when I'm checking what buildings need. This morning I was looking for a delivery, and found it without having to drive around. Unfortunately can’t get to end of the path this month as you mentioned by a long shot. faster trucks, more points, rewards are average but I only do it for scrolls and puzzles… the rest is rubbish. Decorating is so outdated and needs a revisit. no breakdowns is a plus.

I give up on their implementations My understanding was that changes were being made to the chicken valley specifically, and the last valley season was a beta trial of that new chicken valley. The sanctuary valley always worked much better than the chicken one, with no great difficulty in collecting points and prizes. My guess is that players engaged with the sanctuary valley much more than with the old-style chicken one, and Supercell were trying to remedy that. It'll be interesting to see what happens with the next chicken valley.

Agree Cowslips The Sanctuary Valley is more appealing for points. It was surprising when I started...not one animal in sight!! 🤣 So much for earning points. The lower points feel awkward after the Chicken Valley. Love the faster cars and no breakdowns 👍

So far there have been no animals anywhere in my valley. Also, after another truck fulfilled an order at a building near mine, the building said it was going to be 4 hours before there was a new request--even though I had just come to the valley for the first time. I've never seen that happen before and wonder if it's a bug.

Not get rid of clouds... this is my theory: say you want to get somewhere, such as a diner. Yet you can't see one due to clouds, so you drive around and around, using fuel. You run out of fuel, so you spend diamonds on fuel wheel spins to keep driving around.
Of course, the valley maps that are available can help to avoid this.

As soon as I sent my truck off, it broke down. That was a first for me and I have played every valley. The buildings around me also said new request coming.

A chicken at almost every dot was a little bit overdone though.

puzzles Thanks for the heads-up. I do the valley - though it's not my favorite place - because I can gain 3 permits. Each with balanced tokens. Should be doable in time since the amount of tokens increased. It's less stressful, I have to admit, and I am glad about it.

It means you are special . This situation doesn't happen often. I only experience it once since they fix the pool prize to cap permit at 3 for mixed tokens.

Hypothesis of a player performance in Previous Valley: Assumption 1: During the full valley (21 days) a player earning 4 spins in 16 days and 5 spins in 5 days (including free spins), for a total of 89 spins. Assumption 2: Each spins yields a random number from 6 to 9 fuel. Assuming it is distributed as such: 22 times for 7 /8 / 9 and 23 times for 6. That gives 528 + 138 = 666 fuel to use. Assumption 3: Assuming there is a building every 2 nodes, truck can drive to 333 buildings. Some building is further or skipped, let's use only 320 buildings. Assumption 4: Each building yields on average 23 tokens (can be as low as 15 and as high as 35, sometimes 30 and 20). That's a toal of 320*23= 7360 tokens. What changes in october 2024 Chicken ValleyScenario 1: With the same effort, not earning more spins, thus spending less time playing Valley: - Assumption 1: Still 89 spins
- Assumption 2: Still 666 fuel
- Assumption 3: Still 320 buildings
- Assumption 4: x3 more tokens: 320 * 23 * 3 = 22080 tokens
Scenario 2: With the same time or more playing Valley, earning 1 more spin per days: - Assumption 1: 89 + 21 = 110 spins
- Assumption 2: 27 spins yield 7/ 8 / 9, 29 spins yield 6 fuel. Total: 648 + 174 = 822 fuel
- Assumption 3: Now 411 buildings, skipping 11 buildings, gives only 410 buildings.
- Assumption 4: x3 more tokens: 410 * 23 * 3 = 28290 tokens
Overall, if the tokens needed for a player is way beyond lower than this number, player won't need to earn that many spins per day (nor spend as much time as before) but can still get what they want. Less stressful situation, and less time checking, planning activities around Valley related tasks. In my conclusion: more fun to play Valley.

Great analysis, Frog ! (I don't know how to tag on forums ) My friend hit the 8th spin yesterday at 1575 (4135 cumulative) via the harvesting chili task, and the new thresholds are 75% of the original values as you observed, rounded down to the nearest 5. It's been confirmed they took out truck breakdowns and also the corresponding quest to fix a broken truck. Saw a group order yesterday. I've always wanted them to increase the chance of a group order appearing, as there are so many days I've had the quest to fill a group order yet none to be found all day checking the Valley. I don't see a downside to making them appear more often vs regular building orders. They don't tend to be significantly more complex to fill than regular orders...

Isn't it Halloween season after all ? From my guess, and from a programming point of view, triggering Group Order highly depends on how many active trucks around said building. With the improvements introduced, Group task order (to collect chicken) is kinda useless, and Complete Group Order taks becomes more like a impossible mission now if players are more active playing (not necessary Valley but being on the farm could be enough). Its design idoen't seem very well thought out, I won't be surprised it could be gone at some point in the future.

WAY too many chickens. More chickens than there are shops. I can hardly get from one shop to the next without having to stop and pick up a chicken. Our valley already has 160/100. That means that they will be nothing but an annoyance for the rest of this valley season. It’s a good thing that nothing is harmed in Hay Day and that our trucks have a safety feature that automatically stops for animals, or some of these chickens might wish they weren’t sitting in the middle of the road.
