I love some of the Olympic decorations on Greg’s farm- just wondering why, yet again, Hay Day doesn’t release themed deco at the start of an event. It’s day 5 already of the Olympics and if they want me to buy with actual money some of the deco they need to make them available now. After all it’s now I’d want them on my farm, not once the Olympics are halfway through or almost over.
Plus this would have been such a cool time to have country flags available so we could all, if we wanted to, have our country flags on our farms.

SC is famous or should I say infamous for their bad timing with themed decorations. I. e. Christmas decorations after the 24th.
About the Olympic decorations I love them and want them bad. Your flag idea btw is awesome.

Last night R3DKNIGHT said HD team was back from vacation and the daily news will be coming out for August. That is when he thinks all the info will be released about the Olympics. He did say we would be doing the one where you travel down the road and get rewards, and to stock up. And he was pretty sure some decorations would be in diamond packs. Get Ready😉

SC is always one step ahead of taking away the fun. I don't mind the hours of cooking for our event. But what are we supposed to do with 3 requests from the same machine? I have the Fish basket, fish sandwiches and BBQ tomatoes. Being the time here is only 4 hours from bedtime...

I have seen some (multiple tasks in a row on the same slow machine), but less of that for me this time. I’ve also had time to check in frequently to collect and line up the next items, so on two days I was able to complete everything. Between the events and boats, the jam was the only thing I got caught up on and had to trash one. Today I should finish the event, so I’m able to trash low point tasks.
Was it just me, or are the points per item better this time? Before, if they wanted some long products I’d trash anything that wasn’t worth at least 40-50 points per item. So, 150 if the task requested 3 of something. This time I have a lobster pasta task, but it’s worth 290, so I’m keeping it. There are some, like a single soup or ice cream for 100. I appreciate those, too. They aren’t feed an animal for 100, but still…
I am more relaxed this time because the valley isn’t taking my time and I’m not currently derbying so no conflict with needed machines there. We’ll see what happens this week. It’s a normal derby, so I might be back at that. Missing the EM rewards, lol. We’ll see if it stays as a fun event or if my cortisol starts to skyrocket again, lol.

I agree with you, MommySnooks 🐯, this time I got also the impression that the current event is easier to handle. I am finished and I have to say it wasn't stressful. BTW, one reason maybe that I am currently off duty. Due to this I have more time. The 4 diamonds are also very appreciated and some coins. 🙂👍 |

I am on the opposite side with this event. Lots of 80 and 90 point tasks requesting for 4 items on my board. Had to trash a few tasks requesting bars because I didn't have time to prepare them and also a task asking for 3 chocolate bars. The highest task I got was feed chickens for 300 points and catch 4 lobsters for 360 points, each task only appeared once on the board. Still a good one thousand points away from finishing. And since tomorrow it's Monday and will be busy with work I might be very close to not finishing the event. But that's ok for me.

I have found I am stress free with taking a break from the derby.

colourfulfields I feel with you. Unfortunately the tasks given are a matter of luck. This was the case in recent events and it seems to proceed, sadly. I think I am this time a lucky one. I had to trash some ridiculous tasks as well but was able to finish in time due to tasks with high points. I am very sorry for your bad luck. I know this is stressful and something you don't need. 🥺

It is how it is. Until now I was able to complete all the previous tasks events, but that doesn't mean it will always be possible to finish. After all it's just a game and a nice way to spend some free time. 😉 |

I also thought that the tasks were easier this time, I had a request for one one gold bar rather than three or four and others that did not want so many. I wasn’t derbying either which was helpful. I was away for several days but still finished yesterday.
