Fishing for ten years, and I still have a whole bunch of fish to catch. One thing that would help immensely is adding some info to the fishing book about what fishing holes each fish lives in. I know we can tell what lures to use, but habitat info would really inspire me to get out there with my lures! The info should be available for any fish that still has different weights out there to be caught.

It would be nice if it were added to the book. I try to look at the background in the picture, but especially when it’s faded, it’s hard to guess.
I think there is a page maybe in the wiki, maybe in a fishing guide here? that describes where things are. It numbers the spots and describes them, i.e. “rocky”, “reeds”, etc.
Does anyone remember what I’m referring to, and where it is?

I remember trying to consult the wiki fishing guide. It’s a pain to not have it available in game especially since we do have the fishing guide. This reminds me of the joke that was made in another thread about how any of us who have been farming for over a year should have this info memorized. 😂

I've been fishing for 10 years and I still haven't caught the golden trout. That's the only fish in my book I have yet to catch. I don't know what the trick is, I've never seen it jump. I've gone through hundreds and hundreds of lures trying to catch it and to no avail. So if anybody has an idea on how to catch that stinking fish I'm all ears

Yes. And I'm not concerned with event fish. Just that one elusive fish. I have figured out the heavier fish etc of course by the size of the circle. I have done all of that. After 10 years I just want to catch that one stinking fish

I read somewhere that you should use golden lure, see if it has a small inner circle and fish it out only if is puts up a big fight. It worked for me and try not to catch during fishing events.

Someone who loves their stats posted a chart here from Reddit, just in the last few days (or I saw it in the last few days). Was it Squirrel?
