Farm Pass Users

I always pay for game-related items using Google Play gift cards. I do use Apple cards to buy music from itunes though, so this isn't great news.

I always buy mine from the Supercell website .. with my credit card.

At first it was fiddly retrieving the pass in Hay Day but I’m used to that now and it works ok.

There is still 58 min left on the current farm pass. Could that be the reason it won't let you checkout?

I think you can buy the farm pass at any time with no need to wait till one has ended. You can buy more than one at a time and you can donate a pass to a different player.

I've paid £11.99 for my pass in-game.  I was surprised to see another option for £12.99; that one includes 50 extra barn and silo spaces.  I don't need those, as my farm is in a dreadful mess after all the recent events,  and I have lots of barn and silo space at the moment!

I've been using Google Opinion Rewards and got farm pass money that way.

Other than the finicky way to get to the Farm Pass if you purchase it through the SC store, in the US and possibly state to state, you may be charged sales tax. I was the last time I used the SC store. It made for a net savings about $0.25.

I just peeked at the website to see what discounts are offered and realized it wants us to login wirh SCID. I don’t use that, though, so Apple it is.

I may be wrong, but the way I read Snook's post, it sounded as though "Supercell" wants players to log in under their SCID email in their store (not Apple).

Apple *doesn't* need SC ID.  That’s why I use Apple for the farm pass, in-game.

Huh? Without logging in, I can see a few offer with -10% discount. But cannot see specific payment method.
I understand that after logging in , since the country or other details can be determined, player could see more personalized offers.

By logging with SC ID, it also helps the store to know to which account the goods should be delivered.

I'm quite upset that Clash of Clans have some better deals than Hay Day.


To address another remark in this thread, it seems that purchasing pass is disabled within 24 (?) hours before the end of the month. This is so our players from another timezone won't be mistaken about which moth farm pass they are buying. In Clash of Clan game, I remember the time in the shop is counting down to buy farm pass, not till the end of the pass validity (there is another counter for that).
