I need your advice to sort out the above mentioned subject. To make it clear I am not asking for myself but for my sister. She called me today about a special problem with one of her resp the farm of her daughter, my niece.
The farm in question is in my friendlist but not in my neighborhood. So is the farm of my sister. They have their own neighborhood with the exception of one farm, and this is causing some trouble.
Thing is, if I search on my own farm for the name of the desired neighborhood I get it, and additional more results. Same applies for the farm of my sister. The concerned farm of her daughter (she is a minor) is also able to start a request for the wanted neighborhood, but just this neighborhood won't appear in the results, additional she gets less results than her mother.
My sister tried the following....contacting the leader from the neighborhood by requesting the acceptance of the neighborhood on his farm. Surprisingly she is getting a popup what says that the request is done, but nothing happens in the chat. My sister can watch it bc the is also a member of this neighborhood.
We figured that is has to have something to do with the "minor-status" of my niece, since the wanted neighborhood has no restrictions. Lv is high enough, and you have to make a request, what my sister did. Last but not least we compared the settings and everything was fine with the exception of personalized offers and managing consent choices. These 2 points were missing.
I assumed that my sister and/or my niece missed the pop-up recently when SC wanted to conform the age. They classified the farm of my niece as a minor, what is correct. Could this be the reason that a request for a wanted neighborhood doesn't show any possible result? Is this meant to be a protection of minors?
Next question, how can this be solved? I am thankful for any input. Sorry for the long post, but my intention was to give you as many information as possible. 🙂
